Split my buy in half and just bought another 50k for 7.3999p

All day breakfast.....which is appropriate since it's my first meal of the day as usual ;)

The dilemma remains.
Don't be greedy and just take the price now, which isn't THAT much different, or hope a few extra traders sell out and dip it back again.
Decisions decisions....think I'll go get a sandwich as food for thought ;)

Looks like I've waited too long and got beaten to it.
Was getting quotes for 100k for 7.45 but had to deal with work stuff and now already up to 7.75p to buy even small amounts.

Personally I think there's been no Woodford selling on-market since we started rising.
I assume they're not out completely or we'd have had a TR-1 however I don't believe they're selling on-market now (if ever they ever were).
If anything there appeared to be a distinct shortage of shares and the price was being easily moved (but we're currently just seeing the exit of the remaining short-term traders who jump to their next one once they think the cusp of the wave has broken from recent rise).

One of them was actually good enough to message me on Twitter because he thought I might be worried (I wasn't :p) and said he accounts for over 375k of the sells (no reason to doubt that - he'd previously ). He just wanted to jump into another stock - each to their own.
Suits me anyway...I'd been debating spending some of my bonus here (and was waiting to see if the trickle of small PI sells would drop the ask) :)

Even at these prices they're not getting many sells to restock their coffers though, after all the considerably larger recent buying, and certainly would appear they could do with a lot more, as I'm still being quoted 8.25p to buy, and they're not keen to offer any out cheaply.

Tempting to buy up the float myself....as I'm getting a belated xmas bonus in my pay on Monday....only problem is they've not told me how much it is!

The article says the company is pretty screwed.

"Independent financial experts have compared the Company’s financial statements to other AIM-listed Companies with similar caps and could not explain “the curiously irrational overhead, which explains the reason why the Company is folding under the weight of disproportionate loans it had taken from local Nigerian banks at uncompetitive interest rates.” It was further gathered that the Company is presently stressed with meeting its overhead and is urgently considering down-sizing its headcount in what is considered as last-ditched efforts that suggests the Company may not endure beyond 2020 in its current form."

Definitely....although I'd get some funny looks if I bunged that on in the office ;)

Never had a position long or short here officemanager and can't imagine I ever will (too risky both to go short or long on it imo).
I rarely do resource companies anymore anyway (and have been generally trying to avoid them).
Only became aware of the debacle a few days ago with that RNS (and frankly the comical nature of it all - though I appreciate not funny if you were/are holding).

MrBelfort - simple answer is most of us wouldn't touch an AIM company with a bargepole if the management look dodgy or incompetent (not least because it means you can't trust any of the info they produce - or trust they'll do the right thing by shareholders in the future). There's an endless number of AIM companies with independent CPRs, full of big numbers that say their resources/licence is worth loads on paper, that end up being worth next to nothing (or actually nothing).

That's the problem.

This may well turn out good and make everyone lots of money. It also might not. Trust in management is one of the most important things on any company (doubly so on AIM) and I'd fail to see how anyone could have trust right now rather than just hope.
