Just listened to the Pharmaxis call. Nothing particularly relevant to SNG.
It's clear they're still in talks with a number of potential partners - and I would imagine it's mainly now Pharmaxis haggling over the deal - in order to ensure that they get a good upfront payment with no/minimal ongoing costs - rather than jumping at the first offer (especially now in light of the BI news).

Ironically you might argue BI would now be MORE interested in LOXL2....as they specifically reiterated their strong focus on NASH in the joint press release about BI1467335: "Boehringer Ingelheim continues to be fully committed to building a comprehensive next generation portfolio of first-in-class treatments with breakthrough potential to enable resolution of NASH across all stages of the disease."

Now who's got a best/first-in-class treatment for NASH ready to be partnered.........exactly.

The trading has been all over the shop.
If I tried a dummy sell quote for a smaller amount, it would fail and say no quotes, a larger amount and it would give a quote. Never seen that before on any share!
On top of that the quotes where never anywhere near the bid/ask. Neither were they near the price trades were actually going through at. Same for when doing dummy buy quotes. Never got offered near 5.75p.
Real shennanigans at the moment.

I suppose, as a variation on your logic, it may not be the administrators, but instead an existing large holder, who sells just enough to nobble the price, without notifying, then table a bid to the administrators for the shares, somewhere near the current price, making it seem more appealing.

The background seller has to be almost finished. There’s been a huge amount of these large blocks now even if just counting the 250k’s. They must tot up to well into the territory of a notifiable holder who’s not following the notification guidelines (not that that’s uncommon on AIM!).

It’s very simple ODONNELL. There are a couple of main reasons for using spreads. Leverage or tax. No tax with spreads is simple. Leverage essentially just meaning you get more bang for your buck.
Everyone pays their money and takes their own chances.
As an example, I might have lots of shares in something that’s at 20p, that I think is worth 35p, and potentially could be worth £1 with some success in the next 6 months. If that share falls to 10p and I still think it’s worth 35p, with the potential to be worth £1, then the risk/reward is massively increased at the lower price. The better the perceived risk/reward the more appealing leverage is.
So with FFWD at 12p I might have a smaller overall position with less aggressive spreads. The lower it gets the more aggressive I’d be prepared to be with spreads. At 12p it can fall 12p. At 6p it can only fall 6p. Maximum.
In reality you can likely write off the lower pence end of the scale too as it’s not a high cash burning company and the investments are spread across various different things with the majority looking good (or great).
So the actual downside risk in pence terms is pretty limited compared to the upside now in my view.
Hence I’ve increased my position.

That's the one thing about targets and these boards that I've learnt over the years.....if a share is 15p, and someone says their target is 10p, they'll probably actually be buying at 11p ;) (and the same in reverse for selling)
Nobody wants to get pipped to the post for what they think is the actual bottom (and they'll often struggle to get much when the bounce is accelerating).

I had to briefly add to the sells the other day in order to switch money around between providers....on the other hand my position is now larger than ever ;)
(I'm not waiting for a fraction lower that may never come :p)

A couple of the studies look related to things other than NASH and Diabetic Retinopathy. Maybe it's going better than expected and covering more indications ;)

I tend to agree with you, seems strange wording if all had gone swimmingly, and BI have just concluded a trial, so perhaps it was only moderately successful, and PXS might have the option to take it back in-house (a bit like SNG001).

The drug trial is underway as planned and nothing to suggest it’s not going to complete as planned. In fact the government flu data is looking good with decent amounts of patients this year.
Any time there’s a small amount of selling you go mental. The price only moved when I sold some to shuffle money around between accounts.
You’re just inventing scare stories as usual like a complete numpty!
In fact if any of what you said was true, or you believed what you said, you’d not keep scaremongering then buying in.
