I certainly did not expect to.
Whilst being a big fan of the company, and their premise as a whole, I'd invested so heavily at 6p, that I would have been an idiot not to take the bird in the hand, just in case. I just had to settle for being an interested observer whilst it played out.
When it started heading down close to the placing price again I started to consider it properly again. Did some more reading and satisfied myself there was still enough chance of success and upside to risk coming back in.
Not as big a position as last time however - whilst waiting for further news - but still enough to make serious money if the results come in good.

ChrisToffer - that's good. Sounds like it might be the lower dosage option for same effects.

That's not what I meant.
I would have thought you can potentially use higher doses of interferon via inhalation directly to the site than you could via injection to the whole body (and they may have always done this).

With regards dosage, that may be an inherent advantage for SNG, potentially being able to deliver a higher dosage directly to the area affected compared with just injection into the blood-stream. Or lower dosage to achieve the same efficacy because it's delivered directly (so potentially less side effects). I can't find any information on that though - so speculative.

GamblingMan - I don't think there's anyone who can tell you how things will pan out in terms of value. COPD could be massive as you say. COVID could be massive. Then you've got the potential, that if it's shown to be working for them, then there's a good chance it may work for other things (might revive interest in trying for Asthma for a major for example). Putting a value on that is extremely hard and I'm sure anyone could make a case from hundreds of millions to billions. Especially if there's competition for the company/rights. The company could be bought outright. Could be partnered with a major. Might try to partner for COPD but go it alone manufacturing for COVID. Who knows!

I think most people are assuming COPD first then COVID later in terms of results (but again that's just going to be an assumption).

I think perhaps it's something to do with being based on the last auction price rather than the last trade price because you don't get AT trades on a SETSqx stock. Can't remember if there were any intraday auction UT's today, but I'm guessing the price was enough above the last one to result in these extensions.

You're allowed to dream Nolupus. Nobody's going to criticise you for that (bar the Primark crew who aren't back from work yet). Just don't say it's definitely going to happen :)

(I do think there's a good chance of a further sudden move though, either if they run out of PI sellers, or because they've filled a large buy order in the background, and therefore don't need to try to "game" PI's out of their shares to fill it. This is obviously total speculation on my part and just a suspicion based on the trading)

MasterRSI - Yeah mentioned this in previous days. You can never be entirely certain with the games on the trade feeds...however after accounting for the delayed reporting and prices there do seem to be regular large blocks of shares being bought up. I suspect they're extracting as many shares from the PI's as they can at the moment, whether with the drop, or rising and holding trying to get profit takers.

Ghia - that's pretty risky being margin called for the sake of a penny or two. I don't know how much you do this but all I can say is I've seen people wiped out by flash-crashes right before excellent news. Precisely because they know they can gather shares via stops and over-exposed people on margin. For your own safety, if I were you, I'd make sure you've got enough margin in to cover at least a 5p drop on something like this (or guaranteed stops - though it's hard to get those in any meaningful size).
