It's impossible to believe XOM didn't know or at least have very good reason to believe the permit would be granted. Exxon and the Guyanese are clearly very close. On top we are talking about very little money for XOM in the scheme of things.

Incorrect. Cash payments have ceased but share issuance will continue. According to their Q1 presentation weighted average share is 2024 will be 675m and 685 next year. So there is another 75m shares to come after this

Imagine how pee'd off the sellers must be. Sold half their business for 14m and now it's worth 1.4m. I feel their pain...

Tullow have no money and presumably Total reckon there are better returns on their capital elsewhere. What is more difficult to understand is why XOM didn't see their exit as an opportunity to buy their stake. Particularly as they know exactly what their Hammerhead plan is. Makes me sceptical that XOM are interested in Orinduilk.

Unfortunately Nige his schtick doesn't carry the weight it once did. Since he gave that interview the SP has dropped another 12%. I agree with Pokerchips. Only the numbers matter and he has yet to show anything positive. The valuation is nuts but seems no-one is listening.

Now down 30% since May on zero new news.

Just really about size of Exxon investment and impact on Guyana. My take out Exxon are in there for the long hall and are backed by the Guyanese govt.

Its nt what GM spend on ads it what they spend on agencies. I'd imagine this will be low single % of the total and then whatever is S4's share of this. Really doubt this will be anywhere near $20m. Hope i'm wrong though...

Looks like a big win. Don't know whether it'll be a a whopper but hopefully in time. The big news I think is the credibility it brings to other potential large US companies in future MM pitches. And it's not a tech client, very old economy which is what S4 need to be doing to broaden their client and revenue base.

SP will react only to a positive management statement. As long as the SMS is downbeat we are stuck here.

I too have a large chunk of ECO and will continue too hold simply for 3b/4b. So trust me I want this to do well. The rest I take as pure speculation. Gil has a history of making comment particularly on timing that later turns out to have been optimistic and I’m being polite. So until there is a concrete announcement I am sceptical.

I assume ECO or their PR advisors read this. They should understand what their PIs are thinking. Good and bad,,,
