Last CPR for Orinduik had a lowest estimate of 2.3bn barrels (oil only) and a best of 4.5bn. Gas was another 3.6bn at best est but let's ignore that for the time being. Mid point on the oil would be 3.4bn. say 30% recoverable 1.1bn. Eco at 20% at after from in. 200m at $4 a barrel = $800m. All pure speculation course but my point is if any of its assets comes to fruition then the value of Eco is in the hundreds of millions. If Exxon are involved it would surely be an incredible signal to realising that value.

Just watched the presentation. My take on it, having watched these now for a while, is that there seems to be a better handle being expressed on the business and outlook. The market will reward this. When it turns on good news or an upgrade, as we have seen today it will turn sharply. Other positive I thought was the comments on their pipeline being upbeat. More business and clients in H2.

I agree though, spike is probably due to them shi**ing their pants

It's a good analogy you make with SAA. IIRCC correctly SAA had s boardroom bust up, accounts delayed and other various shenanigans which took them 3 years to recover from including an offer on the cheap along the way. It takes time for the companies to recover from own goals and to regain the markets trust. 2025 here is my guess.
