I think one of the issues here is the AOI stake. The CEO stated the were a seller or at least not a long term holder. What's going to happen to that stake? Current SP precludes a trade sale I would have thought and overhang prevents the SP rising, A bit circular....SP needs some corporate action to clear the air.

Eco is a leaky. My prediction is there is no impending news. Positive news-flow would be proceeded by a spike.

No reason to buy until signs of a pick up, similarly the listing rule change will do nothing until that happens. Let's hope there is a bit more optimism from SMS in the H1 numbers.

Interestingly the median broker forecast has dropped again and now, according to the FT is 64p. High is 230p and low is 45p

I agree with you and what the also allows is the hedges to shift the SP by dominating the trading on low volume days. Look at the algorithm trades yesterday and today and the concerted effort to drive down the SP. In a more liquid market it would take far more effort so you have companies based in HK coming to London to make their money. Far harder to shift the price in NY. Yet another Brexit benefit....

Received an alert this morning sayinthe SP was down by 5.8%, thought ho hum another typical S4 start. Went away and did something else, now just turned back on and we are up 8%. FFS...13% swing in a day! At least is non in the right direction this time lol!

Until the financial forecast is lifted or a greenshoots speech from Sorrell the HFs can play the stock. He has learned the lesson of 2023 in forecasting, i.e. under promise and over deliver. I dont see anythong shifting the needle until we have that and he is, correctly going to be very cautious in making predictions.

Yep, dont disagree with that. Still sceptical on XOM Orinduik interest though, which was my initial point. Hope I am wrong as if XOM do farm in, it'll be 'to the moon' for the SP and I'll forgive ECO everything from the past. ;-)

I'm obviously no expert but the pre-emption rights would usually be at a market price. SO if there was another bidder at a higher price then the rights would be set at that price. I would have thought..
