I don't think you can conclude this. The current and previous CEOs of Africa Oil have consistently stated they are only interested in investing in existing assets in Africa.

In fact you could look at it the other way and say value 1% 3b/4b must be much higher than current market valuation of this asset if there are willing to give ECO the other assets.

Another way to look at it is AOI put a value on 1% of 3b/4b at higher than 16% of the rest of ECO's assets. Either way its good for ECO, in that 3b/4b is worth way more than the current market value of ECO and or the rest of the assets have no value at the current market price, which makes no sense.

Looks like a good deal to me. Effectively a buy back/cancelation of the stock of 16.1% of the stock at a notional cost of 6.5m GBP at Fridays closing bid price. Value at this price of the remaining 5.25% 3b/4b stake is 34m GBP. So equal to the post cancellation of the current market cap.

Also removes a potential massive potential overhang.

3b/3b was farmed out and since then we’ve floated back down.

Part of it is the LSE has basically become illiquid for smaller stocks meaning no true price discovery, just what a MM wants to hold tiny volumes at.

Second part is ECO and the constant false start and jam tomorrow story. Why hold here and wait for however long when you can buy and trade NVIDIA or some other stock with momentum.

I have to say if I hadn’t been in this for so long and now being terrified to sell as for sure will come the next day and I’m sure many on the board are in the same position, I’d be thinking maybe I’ll jump in when 3b drill dates are confirmed. Farm out can come tomorrow or never.

We'll be pushing up the daises if and when this SP reflects the assets. Fact of the matter is there is no interest in ECO and the sp continues to deflate on tiny volume as there are no buyers. Doesn't really matter what Gil says and it hasn't since Joe/Jethro were revealed to be heavy oil. SP will only move on a drill and well be waiting at least another 6 months for that.

So didn't happen this week. I trust its because they needed to pop out and buy a bigger calculator to add up all the large numbers.

Agree. Can’t see it being sold for less as this was the buy in price for most of the acquisitions. We need to see the current situation improve and take the SP to £1 plus,. Once it’s got positive momentum anything can happen.

Would be good to see signs of margin improvement. Surely those layoffs at the end of last year must be having an impact on the bottom line?

Interesting to hear him say the GM win is a big deal for S4. First time I've heard him refer to it.

He is a great speaker but the SP is still in the merde. I think you can conclude that all of his appearances with the great and the good are of questionable value. insofar as attracting buyers of the stock.

It's really a joke. A handful of A trades took the SP down by 2 p. Haven't counted but the total value looks less than 30k. moved the market. This trade like an AIM gold miner.

S4 could win both of them and the SP would drop the obligatory 2% per day. 60 trades in 6 hours. Complete lack of interest. Such a frustrating share to own.

If the HF's shorting are thinking the same way, surely they will have looked and the the Publicis statement this morning and concluded its time to head for the exit.

SAA up 30% in the last 6 months. Valuation now not that far shy of SFOR.
