What's the value to shareholders though. Take off the o/h, take of the tax, at close to 50%, take of the value to "non controlling interests" which was 60%!!!! at H1. If this stone is worth 5m then ordinary share holders would be lucky to see 1m of it. Look at the numbers....

The question is what can S4 rebuild there margin to in the next couple of years. even a 15 % margin on 1bn revenue at 10x =1.90p less debt.

I think in a couple of years it's not out of the question but I also think those here hoping for a t/o based on his age or dreaming. He might be old but he is far from stupid and as we know large of ego.

I'd look gloomy if had to get up at 4 in the morning knowing that I had nothing new to say and that my personal fortune was going to take another pounding!

Every 1p here is worth 500k to him., so int he last 3 weeks he has "lost"12m. If he can't this to 2 quid a share, which given his recent comments, seems to be what is in his mind, he is looking at 85m upside from here..

At least they seem to be in the process of resetting it through cost control. Be interesting to see what to looks like in H2 on a stand alone basis. Margin is profit and revenue is growth. Get the first one right to fund the second one.

I've been contrarian in this for more than 2 years. Assumed after the accounting farrago that he would get a grip. Consistently proved wrong, however the valuation now makes no sense. EBITDA forecast was maintained, some new client wins and interest rate reductions to kick in. Really wish I had the opportunity to buy in now. Resigned to waiting for 2026

I for one am happy that he has it. If we know anything about him it's that he has an ego and thats what will get this share back to 2.50....eventually. NO way is her selling out for pennies in the £

Its also good the see them expanding their client base with "old industry" names. If there is another lesson for the future is don't put all of your eggs in the tech basket.

It's pretty much expected and at least there are no surprises. Bit disappointing there is no light at the end of the tunnel sentence but again, better to be realistic. The lesson has obviously been learned.

No idea what will happen this morning but in a month from now we will probably be at this level and continue to bounce around here until eventually there is an uptick in the outlook.

Their RNS this morning is an interesting read.

Sales up, margin up - 14%, profit up 40% YOY. Talks about still volatile markets but improving margin through cost control. In other words the job is a good un. The market reaction? Their SP is up by a massive 1.6%.

If S4 re-iterate FY guidance,, which I fear is the best we can hope for the SP will fall. LSE is broken...

Market needs to know all the bad news is out of the way. Irrespective of the macro picture they can control their own margins. 1% margin improvement is worth 8m.

Can't see SMS letting this go for less than the founders buy in price. He will wait until he SP is north of £2 and then a 30% premium might do it. This chimes with his recent comment about the business being worth c1.8bn. 650m share inc this still to be issued x £2 x 30% = 1.7bn or 260p per share.

Frankly, this is a all blah blah BS until they show upside in the financials.

This is an easy share to work down. Each time it has reached the mid 50s or higher down she goes, so snorters know they can drive it down further.

If you look at Bloomberg screen posted by Nigel you can see that basically the large holders haven’t shifted position. And that’s been pretty constant.

So I conclude this momentum trading which will swing around when or more accurately if good news states to emerge. Question is just how long we need to wait for that to happen.
