That it’s almost exactly the same company of people negatively posting on this bulletin board as last year pre placing when the SP went from 0.85p to 11p in the space of 3 months. Interesting. Their arguments haven’t changed either. Recognise that since then the SP has done almost the reverse :-) but EWT will prove one way or the other and my money is on a positive outcome for UKOG. Red

Well, that would set the cat amongst the pigeons if it were the case . . . Seem to pop up when the bid is dropped to get the lower price and as they’re negotiated trades . . . well you can probably guess what I’m thinking;-)

Noticed buying in blocks of 1m with some 2m and 3m blocks being picked up too. Mostly negotiated trades. Interesting.

Agreed. Per the RNS “. . It is CONSIDERING raising funds. . .” also “. . . SHPULD any arrangement be finalised . . . .” and “Terms including amount and pricing are to be agreed and there can be NO CERTAINTY a transaction will be finalised.” To me this reads that UKOG are considering something which will require funding. If they can’t get the funding at the right price it then the deal goes off the table. Anyone stating WITH CERTAINTY that this is an existential raise is flat out lying. End of. Red

Gerry - thanks for the info. So if HH-1 kicks off at 1600bopd+ then tapers down to 400-500 bopd after 2 years then I’ll be a very happy camper. Remember that the Portland flow was restricted by the pump so could well be higher than the 323 bopd stabilised dry oil rate reported in March 2016. But let’s see what the EWT brings. Red

We’re in violent agreement. Yes the bopd is always going to be an extrapolation unless you have a field in stable production. They’re trying to provide a meaningful metric to compare against other discoveries at a similar point in development. Red

Gerry - I don’t think I do. Look I think the point you trying to make is that you don’t believe the flow rates are sustainable and that we’ll have significant pressure depletion over time. Thats what the EWT coming up is intended to prove. Truth is know one absolutely knows yet. But initial indications are positive from the testing in March 16. Stabilised flow rates are technically bound by regs (I think) and so you have to provide certain evidence to support that statement. Red
