@Spike - if you seriously think that it’s ‘rampers’ dragging in new buyers to be caught on a spike then you’re 1) overplaying the role of bulletin boards in making share purchase decisions 2) underestimating the role of market makers in playing the price to generate volume 3) ignoring the fact that the RNS contained the words “bonanza grade” when referring to the results from the 1st RC drilling return . . . .

Given the flow of news due for Havieron, Black Hills and Ernest Giles then I can only see one direction for this share. People are currently selling to crystallise gains form last week when they missed out on the spike, some people may have been underwater from the JV debacle and just want out, that’s their prerogative. For me this is a longer term hold. Let’s see what further news BH has to bring and then Havieron RC results - if anywhere near half as good as the first set - should all add to the pot. It’s bubbling along nicely at the moment ;-) Red

@Spike - what you might be missing is that these results are also concurrent with what’s going on at Black Hills, which from early indications seem to be very good if not excellent too. We should have a further update on initial results from the surface survey at some point this week. If they continue to unearth nuggets and high gold density rock chippings at Black Hills then I honestly think that this will move north of the parkas seen last year on the rumours of a JV. Also what don’t you understand about the words “bonanza grade” . . . .

If Gervaise provides another positive update on Black Hills along the lines of Thursday then I can see this breaking 3p easily, perhaps more on the spike. However if its better news (more and larger clippings and nuggets) then it could go a little bit crazy. Here’s hoping! Red

Johnny - well, we’ll see tomorrow. But I don’t think it’s going to drop 10% as judging by the volumes the shares have been forward sold. That’s my view. And we’ll see on the flow rates too soon enough. . . . Its difficult to predict a share price because of the intrinsic volatility and news based fundamental uncertainty - it doesn’t behave like an equity you can try to predict the price based upon any model. . .

Johnny - if it was a rationale market acting on perfect information with perfect timing then I’d agree with your analysis. But I don’t think that we’ll see a 10% drop. Read into that what you will. Cheers! Red

Although I did think that the report was a CPR but I’ve learned now ;-) Best that way. I really want this EWT to succeed, for UKOG to be the best U.K. on shore oil producer in history and for the U.K. to gain a little bit of oil independence. Nothing harmful in that I think. @Penguins - I don’t ever mean the Portland to flow at 2000bopd. I meant in combination with the Kimmeridge layers. But hey, the truth will oit over the EWT. In reality 1000 bopd (per Willow Pillow’s post) long term over the EWT would have me smiling. Very broadly. Re the Nutech report is it not a CPR if “Nutech's OIP numbers should be regarded as Total Petroleum-Initially-in-Place, as defined by the Society of Petroleum Engineer's Petroleum Resource Management System of resource reporting (see glossary).”? Are you saying that we should therefore disregard the content of the report since it doesn’t say Competent Persons Report in the title? Cheers! Red

@Penguins - yes I did reference 2000bopd over 150 day EWT, but only to make the point that this would be approximately double the recovery predicted by Smythe so if they got anywhere near that figure it kind of blows his hypothesis clean out of the water. . . Probably didn’t make that point clear enough at the time. But there it is now ;-) Red

@Penguins. Noted that the 3 layers were flow tested independently, but I don’t think that matters unless they’re all interlinked? Even then 2000bopd is a possibility if you get a large enough pump onto the Portland and open up the cokes on the Kimmeridge. ;-) Red

People, please do take everything that Cyan2 write on here with a pinch of salt and do your own research. Read the RNS and independent reports for yourselves and form your own conclusions. @Cyan2 - again, get your facts right. That video is from December 2015 which is pre-the HH-1 initial flow tests which blew the original expectations out of the water and resulted in a revised CPR for the Kimmeridge at HH. Dear oh dear Cyan2 - called out again. . . Red

Raving denunciation? Possibly. Raging? Probably. The guy is a fully paid up member of the anti Horse Hill brigade. TBH you have your view on his ‘research’ (remind me, was it peer reviewed?) and I have mine. The EWT will resolve the arguement over whether Smythe is a fantasist or not. Because if HH flows at approx 2000 bopd for 150 days then it’ll be bone dry by the time they’re done if he’s right. . . . Somehow I doubt it. But hey I could be wrong, but then so will Xodus and Nutech.
