Oli, Rhyming slang has its place in polite society. Although not sure I would describe this board as such. Of course the completed statement would be "what a load of cobblers awls" which IMHO describes the CWU statement perfectly.

Of course I agree regarding dividends but all should be delivered in the correctness of time. There are more pressing issues. Personally I don't see changes at the top as a pressing issue either. Dave can't lay the blame for this mess at the CEO's door.

I'm sure the Company have more to think about than Dividends. I shall be content to receive a payment once other matters are resolved and the Company is back on its feet.

Oli. If your happy with the C.W.U and feel your opinion is shared by the majority so be it. I would imagine joining another Union would compound the problem.

The method outlined by NDZ would require organising many to have an effect. However the CWU isn't the answer.

NDZ. The decision re subs is of course entirely with the individual. Question is do they consider its all been worthwhile? Will the decisions made ensure better job security going forward?

I have once come into contact with the RMG union. My mother, a postal worker, enlisted their help when as a teenager I was being given the run around after a Road Traffic Accident. I got my cheque soon after.
I am not anti Union unless it appears they are not working in their members best interests.

NDZ. JB. Totally agree and I know from experience what a roller coaster ride it can be here. I have been called an idiot when buying in the 120's same when selling in the 620's maybe it has nothing to do with the price and more that some think me an idiot? I can live with their opinions because they do not affect my decisions.
You were talking of timeframes and it doesn't take a scholar to see that this share has topped 5 or 6 quid a few times.
As to your point regarding choice JB my belief from a lifetime of interacting at all levels is that you always come across the individual that will complain constantly. However the same individual remains in place sometimes for years. Obviously easier to complain than make changes.

Here we have a trio of individuals. Different backgrounds but similar outlook on life I imagine. All of course suffer the ups and downs of being I.D.S shareholders. Though seem to take it all on the chin.
Could it be we are all adults and understand that life throws some curve balls. The thing is of course that we three make our decisions in life and don't expect a free dinner.
Broch is apparently "astounded" I must admit to a similar thought as to why some here complain year after year about their lot as employees. In their position I would move on to pastures "supposedly greener.
