Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
second looky likey profile back again.
no likey, green lighty, no bothery me!
may not have cash in here at the mo, but have had and may again. just because you don't like my rationale and aversion to the short term risks and other red indicators like bond price (shh...nobody mention the noggies!). won't stop me reading and commenting under whatever name.
said it before carillion had backlog when they **** the bed. cashflow is king.
watching to keep abreast and check how things go. could be a bottom or it could yet be another false dawn.
time will tell. gla
I want to believe this has turned a corner but I am still not quite ready to rejoin the party.
The bonds have ticked up again but why does every trade look like a sell still? I don't think I have ever seen a trade go through at anything but the bid price!
But....I wanted backlog. It is appearing. Terms unknown....poor track record on lump sums. Cautious at this point. Probablynoverly so but time will tell as always
Sorry, that should reqd pinned to the bid price
I've been watching and it is certainly going in right direction.
Although most trades still look like sells as last trade price always pinned to the ask price.
That's weird. It says no director deals found for me but pretty sure it earlier said he doubled. Buying 300k and now holding 600k.
Still wary though. Are the 2 biggies lump sum jobs does anyone know??
Hmmm...and seems the spread is closing on the bonds...interesting!
Fat pie man?
I'd say more than 240 if they can pull their socks up over next couple of quarters.
Very good outfit and 240 was never enough IMHO.
This has value and board sound like they knew it wasn't enough.
US has been going through a rather tough time. Suspect Appollo pull outs relate more to that. Was just reading a bloomberg article about US defaults.
At another fork in the road.
A lot has changed in the few months I guess.
Kinda glad...kinda gutted. Means I'll be holding those few I bought back too early, but will do well from here on in I think. Amazed at how far it has fallen but seem a lot of appetite and price bouncing on the back of lots of buys.
Now a big contract or two would be perfect!
Don't bite....no bite.....
I'd say 'The doric' would have a better claim at being 'proper' Jockanese than traditional Scots. It is a long spoken dialect which stems from old English and old Norse....that or Gaelic (I guess) would predate modern Anglicised or nowadays Americanised Scots.
Words like Braw (Norse bra) for good. Yer hoos etc. BBC Scotland did an excellent pjece on it not long ago. Apparently, Doric speakers can be understood in the Northern parts of Norway, where they also have a local dialect.
Banking industry greedy and have caused the spike they want to correct? Discuss....
I still don't get the bond price. Any theories?
Sour stuff.....yum.
Don't think many people build real castles in the sand!
But some have tried due to geology (or for tax purposes I guess?). Many will sink. Could this be one? Or is this companies debt being offloaded elsewhere? Can they work it off to become great again? Time will tell.
Solar (efuels) from the Middle East? Maybe but a long way to go given some aspects.
Hello again Happy!
This time we agree! There are problems somewhere under the hood here. The SFO (and it seems others) attacks, bad estimates and trying to buy work in the past. Hard to tell if it is the case with this new job with available info. It is mentioned as a frame agreement which are often low margin but low risk. Their high cost of debt make those jobs difficult to win.
Asfari put a bag of his shares up against a new venture.
Shorts and bonds unimpressed by today.
Long slog to win back confidence sadly.
Feels like a slow death by a million cuts.
Next 6 months could be do or die. That note I posted about earlier pretty much says aa much. Was there not something about capital being locked somewhere and if they can't get it out or soms of the other things they mention.....they either file or equity raise with next to no markrt cap......uh-oh.
I know I will be attacked for this post....but my honest assesment at this point.
Several biggies required pronto guys!
P172 made for an interesting read.
What are the 8.3s showing?
Anyone been keeping tabs?
And not on lump sum or small margins!!
