Not expecting an RNS this morning, but it’s possible. Pressure is building for positive and game changing news, but if it doesn’t come then a further steady rise in SP would be a very positive indication that sentiment is turning. Ignore the consistent negativity from those with a very obvious agenda, plus the ‘turn with the wind’ opinions of those who treat shares akin to a nag running in the 3.30 at Ascot. As a genuine investment, rather than a traded commodity, the risk to reward is now very much in the LTHs favour. Can’t imagine the remainder of the journey will be smooth, but we haven’t got too much further to go. Patience still required.

You ramp one minute, deramp the next - I assume to suit your trading stance at that moment. Can you not see it’s your complete lack of integrity and credibility that alienates people? Can you really not see that? Yet still you post, day in day out, sharing your month and a half of share trading experience as though you deserve to be listened to.....

Agreed. Big news for me was announcing the JV going to DD. That should suggest negotiations are advanced and a deal tentatively agreed. That will interest the Institutional Investors - and that’s when we see big rises.
Now, I very much doubt that many fund managers set their alarms to specify to get up for COPL’s RNS, unlike some private investors! They’ll only be picking up on it now, discussing it, crunching numbers at agreeing strategies. They don’t come out the blocks at 8am, they set out strategic goals and work to them over a set period.
It was never going to be fireworks this morning, just private punters being emotive. However, the DD news is significant and should see COPL being a subject for discussion by bigger investors, with some deciding to open and build a position.
Patience is required. Emotions are not.

My last post was in response to Ironhide’s shock announcement that financiers could make money out of this, even at these low levels. Just for avoidance of doubt.

Of course they do, it’s the business they’re in. What exactly is your point? You repeat this constantly, but the facts are that very few conversions have been RNS’ed. That would suggest that they are playing a longer, more profitable game. So, why do you repeatedly focus on the negative option that does not appear to be happening?

Agree entirely. Whilst some will complain about AM’s communication, we all have to be careful in how we read and interpret them. Hope does not mean ‘will’, but that’s how some have taken it.

Quite understand why some would jump on the fact that no RNS has dropped, but let’s be realistic here. With a potential JV on the horizon, this will impact on other negotiations and involve some form of NDA. You either believe, or you don’t.
I’m seeing nothing in this to dent my optimism.

Chill. Was never counting on an RNS update today, these things take time and, of course, RBL amount and terms will be effected by potential JV. Agree that comms have been insufficient, but probably for reasons outwith his control - his big mistake was heightening expectations for JV news by month end, was always overly optimistic. A reasonable upward trend in production numbers will help the SP whilst we wait for the bigger news to come along.
I know it’s difficult, but patience still required. Totally content that when it comes, it’ll be BIG.
