A very promising start to trading. Have to honest, I didn’t expect quite such a strong start.
Could potentially slow as profits are taken by those trading (good luck to them), but you can almost feel the sentiment having changed now.....
Let’s get those shares into the sticky hands of long term investors and we should see available shares start to tighten up.

SteveV, this is my take on this, also. Just another reason to view my investment as increasingly de-risked. We’ve still got a way to go before everything is in place (and the SP needs to catch up with things already in place!), but I do get the feeling that the stars are now aligning.
Patience still required, but let’s see ....

Just the sort of steady growth I was looking for this morning, prior to any real game changing news. Really nice to see it climbing into, and then out of a weekend - always a good sign. There will be some that cut and run at every stage upwards, against good thing if it puts more shares into the hands of longer sighted, sticky fingered investors.
Still a long way to go, but a promising start.
However, I say again that communication is King through this transformational stage, come on AM - keep talking, keep explaining.....

Stas20, about time someone explained what should be glaringly obvious to serious investors. Too many repeatedly confusing investing in the potential mid/long term growth of a business with putting a tenner on ‘Easy Money’ in the 2.30 at Haydock.....

Too much emphasis from some on minuscule, by the minute SP changes. Concentrate on movement trends (currently positive) and avoid yourselves stress and pointless bickering. You’ll always encounter some profit taking from short-termers (and why not, good luck to them if that’s their strategy). If long term invested, just chill and believe in your research and decisions.

I’m hoping for a nice steady uplift over the next few weeks, nothing more than that. Personally, I think we’ll see that, but I’m past making specific predictions with this investment - other than it has huge potential to those who are prepared to be patient.
We’ll receive plenty of short term ‘advice’ from both de-rampers and rampers, but I’ll be ignoring both and trusting in research and my own longer term gut instinct.
Potentially a cracker, but not an ‘over-nighter’...

IMO, we saw a marked change in circumstances last week, and I’m not referring to the removal of certain posters.
It looks like we have applied remedies on some wells and those remedies are showing good results. That said, I caution against anyone thinking that ‘that’s it’ and that a soaring SP is just around the corner. It’s a good start, but just that - a start.
I’m confident that August numbers will throw up further gains, but it’s the September results that should see a truly marked change. We are not dealing with quick fixes here.
An improving flow situation will only aid us in negotiating a simple and affordable RBL, but that is still required by ‘the market’ - it needs to see finances on a sound footing.
Couple financial solidity with increasing production, then throw in the massive potential of COPL find, and you’re then looking at a sizeable re-rate, but not until we see this in place’ will we see big rewards.
So, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. The tide may have turned, but it’s still miles from shore!
Clear, concise communication is what we need from AM’s crew right now - operational updates that set out in simplistic terms the strides that have been taken in production. Communication is King at this stage of the company’s growth.

Agree with everything you state, except it being a ‘fair entry point’.
It’s a ridiculously low, bargain basement entry price. Lower risk today (IMO), but less than a 0.5p more. Very strong buy to me.

Could really do with a layman’s guide to the production figures from AM. Just replied to a naysayer on twatter who’s bemoaning the total monthly figures. Far to easy to spin a very negative narrative without any explanation. Thankfully it appears that there are knowledgeable investors out there who are buying in, but imagine the reaction if the numbers were actually positioned positively and clearly explained.
AM is missing an open goal here.....

We’re on the same page on this one. Added some more shares today on the basis of remedies now proven to be in place and working, confirmed to me that BOPD will only go in one general direction from here. It’s further de-risked any investment.
Last piece of the jigsaw will be getting stable financing in place via an affordable RBL, that should take us upwards considerably, especially if we continue an upward trajectory on flow rates.
I was always optimistic about COPL, but I’m considerably more comfortable about it today.

What a difference on this board today.
Don’t get me wrong, I genuinely want to see ALL potential issues discussed, any serious investor would. However, the lack of repeated agenda driven negativity is very welcome.
This investment is NOT without risk, anyone that believes it is a safe bet is simply daft.
However, the breakdown of flow figures showing that remedies are vastly improving BOPD figures by specific well are hugely encouraging to me, reducing the risk at the very same time as increasing the potential profit. Make no bones about it, I’m here for BIG gains, not short term beer money.
I’m invested, I’m not gambling.
Patience will be required.

Agreed. Has anyone on this BB got a direct line of communication with AM? A direct request for such an update from LTHs might do the trick....

What would make an immeasurable difference would be if AM came out with a simple operational update that explained the figures in layman’s terms. Paint us the big picture Art, beyond the headline totals......

If these figures are broken down and understood properly, we should see a gradual return of buyers, those ‘in the know’. Likewise, if the August figures continue to paint the same picture, further upward SP trend. The September figures could be capable of a re-rate. Those are the timescales I’m working to, but each to their own....

Morning All
Well, as expected, the July headline figures didn’t look great, but the devil is in the detail and some of that detail looks very, very promising. On an individual drill basis, it’s clear that the rigs that have already benefited from remedial action have responded extremely well and show some huge increases. Bearing in mind that they’ll also have been ramped up slowly and the picture looks very rosy. The next set of figures should give us a far better indication of potential, the set after that should be game changing.
It’s there in black and white, they’re turning this huge tanker around and it looks like it’s going to be BIG. Patience required, it is not a quick fix - but it’s happening.

Need to see some news to kick this up a bit, be that RBL, flow rates or, as suggested buy someone earlier, a nice clear operational update that confirms fixes in place, ongoing and planned.
Wouldn’t take much for AM to shore this up and move it upwards.
