Eye On The Target.27 Jul 2022 17:12
It would be naive to believe that markets aren’t manipulated to some degree and that people don’t target stock sentiment via BBS. It happens and you won’t stop it.
Also very naive, IMO, to allow sentiment to be targeted by entering into BB slanging matches, so giving any doubts oxygen. I like to look at both sides of the coin, but I try to stay well clear of both overtly rampy and obviously de-rampy posts. The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle.
One observation I would make is that, from my experience, it’s quite often a positive sign when you see this positive/negative BB battle ensue. Usually means there’s a huge monetary prize available, hence the motivation to try and sway opinion. It’s human nature, not attractive, but we’re seeing it play out here. Don’t get involved.
IMO, there is a VERY good chance this share will multi-bag over the next 12 months, hence I’m holding a reasonable amount. Risks? Yep, there are some, of course there are - but high potential returns rarely come without any risk.
For what is worth, my advice would be to monitor the stock daily, set targets beyond next week and never get embroiled in petty arguments with those who have nothing better to do than bad mouth a share they say they’re invested in - anyone who does that clearly has an agenda. Simples.
Watching every share movement all day is akin to standing in the bookies all day watching the races on their telly - that ain’t investing, that’s gambling!
DYOR and stick to your convictions.
