So, no thoughts on who continues to sell so low and why? It’s pretty fundamental to current situation, but I can’t fully work it out. Very unusual.
I believe several short positions will have been closed yesterday, so will be interesting to see SP movement today after AM’s very positive buying action.
Cautiously optimistic that we see a rebound from here, but patience still required.

Would like to get people’s thoughts on who’s selling so low and why. Very unusual actions over past weeks, genuinely trying to get my head around it.

For a minute, let’s assume that RBL gets agreed and that production rises (not instantly, but it will). So fundamentals are looking sound. Bonds at 16.75p, so indicators are that SP is undervalued.
That being the case, who do you think is repeatedly selling at this level? More importantly, why?

Please explain your interpretation of ‘death spiral finance’, or is it just a phrase you’ve picked on Twitter.
When an RBL is in place (and I see no reason for any issues there), COPL’s finances should be on a relatively sound footing, with huge potential upside.
The finances are currently in a transitional stage, but please don’t just scaremonger.

Couldn’t resist a small increase in my holding, on the basis that this should rise up to bond levels when this seller clears. Then it’ll all be about production levels and RBL terms - or a TO or JV.
Regardless, I’m seeing little downside at these prices, so will just ride out any turbulence.

I’m pretty bullish on COPL’s future, but don’t want to be overtly rampy, there is ALWAYS a potential downside. The potential here is huge, but we’ll have to cross some choppy water first....

Interesting and very welcome development, AM obviously has huge confidence in a very positive result - although I still maintain that this is a medium to long term investment, not a short term gamble. The traders will do their thing and continue to skim what they can, but my main concern is the continued selling at this low level. The obvious direction from here is upwards, but still we’re facing continuous selling at well below the bond rate. Very strange activity....
That said, this must clear on good volume and ‘normal’ trading should resume. If an RBL (on good terms) is announced and production figures show improvement, then we’ll see a re-rate. However, further patience is required - unless one of the big boys comes calling (a distinct possibility as soon as extraction can be proven).
If you’re a long term investor, I feel this will be a strong and lucrative purchase. If you’re a short term gambler, then good luck, it’ll remain volatile for now.

No ‘insider trading’ here. That the company is seeking an RBL arrangement at competitive terms is in the public domain already. He’ll have taken further advice, but no reason to halt director purchases.

Quite staggering to see the number of posts placed by some ‘investors’ over previous weeks/months. Quite simple to see their agendas, both short and long.
The sheer arrogance of some would suggest either zero self-esteem, or a complete lack of social grace.

This isn’t a guaranteed ‘win reasonably big’ quick stock, it’s potentially a get very rich slowly stock.
I’m in for a medium to long play. Simple hold for me.
