A pretty simple idea but I guess it must have taken a lot of testing to get the -ve and +ve patches in just the right places.

I would very much like your view of mAB 2811.
To me, it seems to be the joker in the pack, very different to the other mABs.
Scancell may consider this to have such widespread use and consider non-exclusive deals to be more appropriate.

I did like the analogy the Cliff used to describe Avidimab. The mabs are holding hands. This must have a big effect on the affinity of the individual mab molecules. The mab would find it hard to disconnect from the target once it is holding hands with all its mates.

I can see the glycans mabs deals being exclusive and Avidimab non-exclusive. This leaves the door open for multiple Avidimab deals.

Ok, so it sounds like it's horses for courses.

For immunobody, as I understand it, the DNA plasmid has to:

a) gain entry into soft tissue cells in order to utilise a process to generate anitbodies
b) gain entry into the DC

So any mechanism that aids these 2 entries means more of the vaccine reaches the target, hence it heightens the chances of activating the TCells. It will be interesting to see how well the chosen delivery method works in comparison to electroporation.

So for Avidimab for instance, this would allow the mAB to enter the cell if this is required.
Am I right in saying that by entering the cell, there is more scope for being able to kill that cell, rather than binding to the outside of the cell.

I find it intriguing that the cargo can actually be a nanoparticle.
I knew that nanoparticles themselves can have added binding elements but maybe this type of binding is hard to engineer for a nanoparticle.
