I reckon this extra work on mabs/avibimab is aimed at getting a much better deal. The urgency is removed to close a deal at any price.

And also you would have thought that Scancell would also have done due diligence on redmile very much on the same lines as Bermuda did.
I suspect Vulpes are just sorry they couldn't get as many shares as they wanted at single digit prices.

You describe ann excellent example of Redmile in action and their motivation.
Of course they are after as much profit as they can get but their modus operandi seems to be to look for undervalued companies with great science and allow those companies to achieve their goals through funding.
The key to this is Redmile doing their due diligence on the science.

With the extra 17.9 million Scancell can go full steam ahead running several trials concurrently. As crumbs says this is particularly important in the modi1 trial which is really 4 trials in one.

We know that between 70 and 75 percent of shareholders voted yes. We don't know the exact figure.
All we know is that more than 75% of extra votes will be needed to carry the vote.
And we also don't know how many more people will vote.
So its not an exact equation.

One example is 70% voted yes and the missing 41% all vote and all vote yes
This would give 41.3% (70% of 59%) + 41% = 81.3%

There are of course many other numerous examples

We know Avidimab/Glycans deals have been postponed.
Could it also be that Scancell now only want a deal with Biontech after they produce some modi1 data. Again the Biontech deal should have much bigger figures attached to it in the event of good modi1 data.
Scancell can now afford to delay deals on any of their platforms.

It occurred to me, even before today's RNS, that Scancell might now be attracting the attention of other fund managers.

Yes, I have just voted for all resolutions.
I feel its best to show a united front and get the resolutions passed.
For me, the important thing is that Scancell now have money to progress trials and open new areas of research.
We don't want a boardroom squabble to linger on.

Yes, you can't blame Diggles for trying to block the resolution. He was probably of the opinion that Scancell would come good without the extra cash thus giving his company more of the spoils.

Maybe it's a shame fox hunting has been banned in this country :-)
