It will be interesting as to whether Trinity will assign any value to Covidity. I believe thy haven't up till now.
The same is true for Avidimab and the Glycans mAbs. Potentially both of these developments could separately be worth a fortune.
It's so difficult to value a company like Scancell.
Maybe they will come back with a £8 valuation :-)

What gives me optimism is Lindy's confidence in the 2 Sky news pieces.
The fact that she is using a proven platform in a clinical trial against cancer. Then the point that Prof Patel made in the first Sky piece that such a platform should find it easier to see off a foreign invader as opposed to cancer which is perceived as "self".
The fact that Avidimab has been incorporated to enhance the avidity even more.
The high avidity memory TCells may give long lasting immunity. As we have come to expect from Lindy, high avidity is key.

And, last but not least, the targeting of the N protein in addition to the S protein.

I find it improbable that Lindy hasn't already been talking to CEPI and perhaps also the Wellcome Trust.

Scancell do seem to be in a good position with the right product at the right time and getting more publicity than they have ever had.

They are vague on Covidity timescales at present but that could change very quickly once Scancell are happy with the delivery.

My prediction of trial start sequence
1) SCIB1/Keytruda
2) Modi1
3) Covidity

I would have thought that there is a fair chance that this is Covidity.

We may see soon how well a defence (Keytruda) and an attack (SCIB1) work together.

IMO this article is talking about another defence. In this case trying to block off one of the proteins that is important to the growth of tumours. I suspect it will work best in combination with a drug that attacks the cancer.

Scancell has a growing number of attackers, some of which may not need the help of a defender. Having said that, Lindy herself is a great believer in using drugs in combination and will advocate a defence/attack combination where she thinks it is appropriate. So, for instance, one of the cancers that the Modi1 trial is addressing may be used in combination with a checkpoint inhibitor.

A great win for Fulham.

The way JLP are operating it means that they are opening the equivalent of a mine at a much lower cost and with a much shorter payback period. Hence they can grow much faster than a conventional miner and they can react quickly to changing metal prices. I can't wait to hear what their next "mine" will be.

So it could be that colectoral cancer is a target for both Modi1 and Modi2. If you remember from one of the AGMs Lindy said she was very excited about combining Modi1 with Modi2.

I think this article is all about the ongoing Moditope research. It could be that colorectal cancer becomes a target for Modi1.

My "team ramp" thought processes tell me that both the Wellcome Trust and CEPI are keeping an eye on Covidity's progress.

I don't know if you noticed but the first Sky new piece included some comments by Charlie Weller, head of vaccines at the Wellcome Trust.

I don't know if this is significant but it certainly gets you thinking.
