So has Lindy identified what makes these survivors so special and is it the presence of specific epitopes?
Am I reading too much into this, that by linking a Sky article on Covidity to a future important continuum announcement, this is pointing to a new vaccine incorporating these epitopes?
Alternatively perhaps specific T Cell cloning from these patients is planned. Scancell can do this now due to the experience gained in the Biontech collaboration.

There's no doubt that the pandemic has lead to many outlandish theories originating from second rate scientists.
Meanwhile the first rate scientists are having great success and making advances. This in turn makes some second rate scientists even more desperate to spout rubbish.
I am going to have my Bill Gates chip installed in my head. That way I can do my neck exercises using a mouse. The mouse might not likely though :-)

The concept of a 'mosaic' vaccine was interesting.
Just up immunobody's street I would have thought.
In fact the concept is already there with the ability to include peptides for different proteins and exactly what Covidity is doing anyway. Lindy may not have looked too closely at other Coronaviruses at this stage but It is one of compelling next steps if Covidity is successful against Covid19.
The high avidity that Immunobody/Avidimab bestows together with the flexibility to add new antigen targets may turn out to fit the bill perfectly.

It is worth pointing out though that the Covidity trial will be for healthy individuals and as such recruitment should be easy. It may take place in 1 location with Nottingham being the favourite.

Great times to be a holder of Scancell wouldn't you say, despite the obvious risks.

With the next RNS (assuming it is concerning Covidity and is positive e.g. planned start date for Covidity P1 trial) I reckon we will get past the resistance level of 28p that has previously been discussed.
How far beyond that level we reach who knows?

To my memory this is the first SP prediction I have ever made on SCLP.
If I am wrong I promise to retire permanently from SP predictions. :-)

However it sounds like it may be a temporary blip due to mining slowing down during the pandemic.

Scancell at this point in time may simp!y not have time to publish pre clinical results. They are having an extremely busy year what with 3 trials planned and so many research projects on the go and patents to file.
We have certainly seen pre clinical results in the AGM presentation and these may have been presented in more details to potential partners such as CEPI.

But one of the aims of Covidity is to clear virus infected cells.
So I would suggest that possibly Covidity could be used as a treatment for Covid19 patients. It may depend on how quickly the infected cells can be cleared.

It's a stunning opportunity not just to make a big leap forward in fighting Covid19 but also to put Immunobody/Avidimab firmly on the map for other infectious diseases.
It is one thing to have newspapers giving Scancell publicity but to be singled out in a CEPI blog is IMO far more important.
Absolutely no guarantee of success of course says one half of my brain.
But the other half says, come on look at the success SCIB1 had against stage 3/4 melanoma sufferers. Cancer being far harder to target effectively.

Yes, we know that Scancell have 3 collaborations for Glycans mAbs/Avidimab but we don't know who the companies are. All we know is that 1 is US-based and 1 is China-based.

Scancell are sponsoring research of exhalation and intradermal delivery of Covidity but this was for PhDs at Nottingham Uni.
