Just to wrap up AB's attempt at stirring, I suspect he has misread or misinterpreted C7's 10.25 post - It is not the jibes that never existed, it is the altruism. That's why he put "altruism" in inverted commas. I depends on how you read it, and how you want to read it. I wouldn't bother raising this, but it will save you and kashdog digging it up again in a few weeks or months as you inevitably would otherwise do. Meanwhile, nice ticks up today and plenty of constructive discussion available for those who wish.

Interesting to look back at the timescales - Moditope is devised in 2013, Scancell drop plans to sell the company and at that early stage speak with Vulpes (and presumably others) about investment. Vulpes obviously listen, but remember at that time immunotherapy was actively falling out of favour so I wonder if Vulpes saw little prospect of a definite return on any investment because of the embryonic stage of the platform and the low probability of perhaps getting a major pharmaceutical to take such a product on at a later stage. However, Vulpes apparently kept tabs on Sclp and as we know ended up gerting seriously interested and doing incredibly thorough due diligence, and on the strength of that and their observations over the years took a 17 percent stake. As we also know, Redmile then took a near 30 percent stake (presumably after some pretty thorough due diligence I would hope)
Of course cancer immunotherapy is now hot and can be incredibly profitable which would justify the level of their interest and commitment, and now looking at the progress of Moditope in tandem with the timescale of Martin Diggle's comments puts any likely commercial action into close focus. IMO, obviously.

The attempted dig at 'altruistic investors' is an old line from the Aimbig days, pushing the idea of utter naivety among anyone who disagreed with the bottom-feeder trader approach. It can be safely treated with the contempt it deserves. It was just a means of self-aggrandisement for a number of now banned and mainly not returned posters.

I've had a bit of a peer already - can't see anything in the RNSs. Be a sport and just name the two products please? It's presumably not a state secret is it?

Hi Baxterssoup, I look in on val now and again and probably miss bits here and there. I saw you said the other day 'VAL is not a one trick pony jn just 201, but has 7 products, 2 at commercialisation stage and the other 5 in billion dollar markets if successful such as 301 and BC201 for example, plus with the proposed lab, this IP pipeline IMHO will soon be in to double digits.' I
wasn't aware if anything getting much beyond phase 1, but have money to shove in here if two products are imminently ccommercial. Which are the two at commercialisation stage please?

Arguments for either, but given how the bid was yesterday afternoon I'll say it's a buy.

I decided to have a very rare visit to the 'other bb' and it is amusing to see that after the second good rns in 3 days the frothy-mouthed tinfoil hat brigade haven't posted yet, but more pertinently an observation by inanaco is well worth noting - 'it also tells you that the needle free route gives you an immune response .... indeed as good as Ichor .. and that response can only come from the Covid vaccine trial.'
I should follow this up by thanking everyone by name for their very good posts, but I'll just leave inanaco's words to be digested.

I like the way Lindy threw in a reminder that ModiFY is the third trial in progress now - either a bog standard summary or a hint that other stuff is brewing - particularly re the Melanoma trial which everyone outside Scancell seems to have written off. Just pondering.

There is no leak, never has been - there have been reasonable conclusions drawn from publicly available information. The lower levels of the trader world just get frustrated by the lack of any leak, that's all.

I wonder how many of Biontech's circle felt impatient until they suddenly emerged as a global player....?
