I have been pondering much the same for the past 10 years or so, and remain happy with my investment - despite the sustained unpleasantness that has been pushed around this board by many directly, and by some slurpy bootlickers of theirs during that time. Most of those are mercifully absent for many reasons these days however. Roll on the future that the better researched among us have always had faith in.

Some serious expansion in influence and status going on. No mention of 'experience in maintaining cardboard laboratories an advantage.' IMO this is starting to get pleasantly heavy.

While the imminent first patient dosing is very desirable for many obvious reasons, let's not forget that the Covidity trial is presumably making progress and the need for a next generation vaccine remains great.

I like the way they are presumably forced to say it is open to 'all genders' instead of the more normal 'both sexes.' Reassuring however that they can now receive applications from men with ovarian cancer. Presumably Moditope may ultimately treat women with testicular and prostate problems too. What an odd, woke, entitled world we live in!

I thinknthere has been a problem on this board that certain posters have tried to put forward an argument that Vulpes and Redmile were buying in to act like traders, but those posters ignored the reality that these are INVESTORS, a relative rarity on AIM and anathema to the lower levels of the trading fraternity. You don't stick tens of millions of other people's money into an AIM share as a short term punt, nor do you do a year's worth of due diligence ahead of a short term holding. 'Follow the money' as they say.

Indeed they do- I had a succession of them as pets, not very long lived but great characters and all so different. Presumably there could also be a veterinary use for Moditope in due course if all goes well.

Looking at that link re the trial, preliminary objectives of safety and tolerability are fine and essential, but signs of 'immunological activity and preliminary efficacy' could be incredibly exciting. My own view is that (having seen the disappointment in LD's eye when the Modi1 trial was off the agenda in 2016) this trial has been delayed so long in order for it to go off all guns blazing now that it is ready to roll. An extra 6 years of work should make it a crackin(g) piece of work. I am highly optimistic. And so are my pet mice.

Presumably if Modi1 repeats its effects from preclinical results, it could render the planned surgery unnecessary. IF that were to happen, such results would be consistent and out relatively early into the trial. For so many reasons let's hope this comes about.
