Interesting to see the word 'viable' in 'viable candidates for cancer therapeutics.' So many posters and other publicity in articles talks 'potential' rather than actually 'viable.' This is also the area where scancell turned down potential deals a couple of years ago once funding was secure. What might these products be worth now I wonder?

I did, but posting rules don't allow emails from a third party under those circumstances to be put on a bulletin board. Suffice to say I am happy with the response, and I have bought more shares in sclp since. Whether the contents of the email and the purchase are linked or coincidental will remain a mystery.

Ruck I think you are being unfair. I always enjoy tf's posts and give thanks every day for his valuable insights, effusive thanks, plagiarism and systematic cut and paste work.

C7, I think it best to bear in mind that while you and I post a simple post here which folk can take or leave as they wish, TF feels obliged to post with at least one eye on how his response will be judged by those who post 'elsewhere', so it is rarely a true opinion, more often a post with an implied 'how did I do?' to those he seeks to impress elsewhere. (Normally with no success whatsoever, but the good lord loves a trier). So maybe one should cut his ego some slack if only as an act of charity.

In his defence he did actually say '6p gives a market cap of £49m, much more realistic'. That's a full 20 percent rise on 5p.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories and scancell are probably as straight as they come, but if you do actually have a scientific breakthrough I imagine it would be entirely feasible to tailor results to a date further away by checking and rechecking data until one were absolutely certain of the facts to be announced. (other opinions are available, some of which will be rational and fair, others more than barking enough to attract a following on 'other' boards I'm sure)

For those who may be confused by Kashdog's labelling of C7 as 'she', I have to say that having met C7 some years ago he definitely male The mislabelling is possibly a poor attempt at wilful abuse, or more likely some 'side effect' of spending too much time at sea.

I read it more as a personal reassurance that if it does take a while to produce significant results, it has the upside of allowing the poster time to rebuild a substantial holding.

The wording reminds me of a friend of mine in Italy who is a senior oncology researcher but is required to go into the lab at any time of day or night if the work demands it. This looks lime a very active 'real time' post.

WTP - yes, that twitter thing seems to be just a retreat of Bermuda's tweet, but the interesting thing is that Scancell have retweeted it. Nobody would have noticed had they ignored it, but to draw attention to it is very interesting and worthy of note. (Other opinions are available, so if you want to interpret it as a portent of doom, feel free. But personally I don't)

Somehow I'd prefer 'launchpad' to 'precipice', but the sentiment is the same.
