2 quid is just a nominal figure plucked out of the air, but when the post gets replied to it might help to negate the negativity of '6p' which was the figure before two large global investors stumped up twns of millions into Scancell (after massive amounts of due diligence and before three trials got properly under way etc etc) Anyway, just querying the maths in a post that says 'if you are invested in Scancell or other market instruments you are 100% down on your investment.'
100% down would mean zero, bust, goodnight, washed out. So '6p' and '100%' down is a bit hysterically negative really.

I note there is a '1' trade at 4.35pm. I know it's an uncrossing trade, I know out of every ten thousand '1' trades not one of them ever has any relevance to impending RNSs, but I'm sure there are a few folk who would expect me (branded as a happy clapper deluded over-optimistic mad ramper) to say 'ooh look a 1 trade, must be an RNS tomorrow.'
So, ooh look, a one trade. Must be an RNS tomorrow. Or not.

Also worth reiterating the increase in the number of trial sites and what can reasonably be inferred from that - Scancell is well funded, but not to the extent of being able to waste money, and they have a track record of managing funds carefully. So if there were any significant question marks I'd expect the trials to pause, or at least not expand to new sites so this expansion is imo a very positive sign ahead of any results.

I'm sure as a super-mega-delusional happy clappy blinkered ramper I will have this quite wrong, but I imagine there would have been a signing-off and handing over of the reins at Nottingham in the lead-up to the end of last academic year, and the official retirement occasion takes place when the new academic year has started with Lindy well and truly signed off. So this would mean an increasing proportion of time and effort spent pushing on full steam ahead with covidity, Modify and SCIB1 combo trials over recent months. I'm sure there are a stalwart few who would actively like to pour cold water on such a thought, but they have been typically absent during a week with a reassuringly gentle yet firm rise. Maybe they will put in an appearance over the weekend.
