I read the Macmillan board looking for a 'despicable' post as described, but didn't consider the debated one to be anything of the sort. I agree entirely with your last post Chester, and can't help but wonder if there is a tinge of frustrated disappointment in some quarters that the injected patient post was verified as true at the AGM. Certainly took the wind out of a few '6p brigade' sails I would think.

15 posts on a Sunday morning before it hits 9am, and some entertaining scrabbling for the moral high ground by a couple of unusual candidates.

Whatever may normally be done as regards anonymity of treatment, the AGM did provide confirmation that the Macmillan posting is authentic.

In your opinion it is sad, in mine it's perfectly fine. So there you go.

TF - We'll have to disagree on comments regarding the bb journey that many of us have travelled. Those posters who nailed their colours to the mast labelled 'eventual success' have every right to enjoy what appears to be coming, and celebrating it in whatever way seems fitting. You seem to forget that a good number of posters told whatever lies and used whatever defamation they thought they could get away with to belittle sincere or optimistic posters for their own ends. Many were banned and any remaining have gently shifted their stance into the 'knew it would come good' camp. It may have escaped your attention as you delivered you ministry round the parish of Bray, but those same people would have danced with glee in posters' financial graves (yours included) if the company had failed, so a little reminder that their insidious crusade looks to have failed is perfectly in order. Imo, naturally.

That shows the stress someone in her position must be in - even though the physical symptoms have improved rapidly and tangibly (swallow, hearing etc) there must be huge underlying worry that it might be too good to be true. I hope her wishes are granted, and those of her fellow patients.
Thus far I've been spared such a daunting and unavoidable experience, though like all of us I know too many who have been there. Fingers crossed for her - and also for the potential of being able to say 'I knew about Scancell for a number of years and followed it closely (and didn't spend half my life slating the board and abusing and pouring scorn on anyone who expressed optimism).'

GF - You annoyed a number of them by pi**ing on their chips and disrupting their manipulative games. I think they had some serious financial gains to make if given free rein - what a shame they were interrupted. I particularly remember their concerted selling around the 18p mark, and their frustration when they found there was an unexpected buyer every time they dumped. I remember also the very organised undermining strategy one August Bank Holiday weekend, which started about 4.30am on the Friday but got rumbled over the weekend, and culminated in David Evans confronting a certain share pundit and extracting the thinnest apology on the planet on the Monday, before market opening on the Tuesday. It's been a long journey! Let's hope the final chapter is revealed now.

You forget Chester - we were assured that GF doesn't actually exist. He is C7 under a different name, so we were assured. (One has to remember the years of very serious hysterical venom directed at anyone who spoke positively of the company or its prospects)

I remember the 'AGM of doom' in 2015 when (among other things) the BoD revealed that the Moditope trial would not be starting in 2016 as hoped. You could read Lindy like a book - no 'brave face' or charades, she was disappointed and it was very very plain to see. The sp was around 22p, it dropped that day and went down eventually to the 5p region. Work continued in the background, then along came Vulpes, then Redmile, and now the trial. So if we take Lindy's body language as very obvious in 2015 with all the disappointments, how nice to think the positive vibes are 100 percent genuine in last week's presentation. Roll on next week/month etc. (Other opinions are available, but may be harder to find just now)

Undoubtedly. Their underlying confidence manifested by their persistent slating of all aspects of the company for many years. As one does when one has no faith in an enterprise....

Agreed, any opinion is fine but it would only have credibility if the poster were prepared to back up the view with facts or reasonable conjecture. This may explain why crackin has been oddly absent with his post of '5p is fair value' with the only extra comment of 'Scancell are too slow to develop anything.'
Having said that he may well return in due course as become one of a number of 'Road to Damascus' style converts who 'never doubted Scancell for a minute.' I'm looking forward to the next AGM where (all being well) they will be queuing round the block to buy drinks for Inanaco as they publicly acknowledge he was right all along.

That's about 3 successful Glymabs or less. So Moditope in all its forms is on top presumably. Plus SCIBs, plus Covidity.....

So, not exactly a lifestyle company. Which may explain why Knowlesi is posting with his 'mates' on the other side but won't show himself here. There may well be some doomie chickens coming home to roost soon.
