RE: Val's Gunner Win16 Mar 2026 09:43
That post sounds like the Fast Show football pundit sketch, but a lot funnier.
ββ¦he sold defender VAL401 for a lucrative Β£16m plus royalties to Ambroseβ β the RNS actually says βup to Β£16 million plus royaltiesβ, and then goes on to say βThe initial Β£6 million milestones are payable in cash or the equivalent value in new ordinary shares in Ambrose with the issue price determined by the latest issue of shares in Ambrose, at the discretion of Ambrose. Payment of milestones in cash is subject to Ambrose raising capital in due course.β
First thing of note there β incoming money will be βcash or equivalent value in new ordinary shares in Ambroseβ, a company with declared capital and reserves of Β£26,741 in its most recent accounts. (Down from 164,643 the previous year) So how they would be able to give away 6 million pounds in shares is a mystery.
Second thing of note β βPayment in cash is subject to Ambrose raising capital in due course.β Since that RNS nine months ago, Ambrose appears to have raisedβ¦nothing. And what declared progress has taken place around 401? None, apparently.
However it isnβt all gloom and doom β 401 belongs to Valiseek. Companies House lists three active directors for Valiseek, number one being Suzanne Dilly. What can possibly go wrong?
Meanwhile the clock ticks, the salaries get paid, and the coffers run dry.
