Well that gives them a fresh wedge of cash to go partnering and deal-making should they wish. It also puts to bed the suggestion that they will be 'too busy with an IPO to bother with bio-minnows like Scancell.' So whatever may (or equally may not) be looming as a result of the Scancell/BioNtech collaboration, the financial decks are now cleared of possible IPO clutter and restuffed with nice crisp banknotes.

I understand your point Klepto, but a factual and comprehensive recap and summary would be interesting to read for me as a long term holder anyway. Sensible recaps have allowed me to clarify any existing knowledge of the science, and I would welcome a full summary as suggested. I wouldn't classify straight fact as ramping.

Sincere condolences for your loss C7. As you will recall I lost my brother nearly 3 years ago. These are things that life throws at us, but we muddle on. Hope you manage to make sense of it as one tries to do.

I agree, 'converging' is very much my take on it, and imo it is the industry that is converging with the science of scancell rather than scancell chasing the industry. I base that on the comments and observations from LD and RG at the AGM of 2014 when they gave as ever a very comprehensive and fluent overview of their science and where it fitted in with that of others.

The McGavin documentary was fascinating as well as moving. Tomorrow's should be well worth watching too.

I'm sure they will update pretty soon - anyway I think it unlikely that all business will grind to a halt in advance of the IPO. Especially if it is just with a 'tiny speculative minnow' - even if the minnow's CSO is in close contact with Ugur Sahin. And has been for a considerable length of time.

All speculation indeed, but arguably more evidence of sustained interest by significant parties than there is evidence simply to dismiss a possible or likely deal out of hand I would suggest. As ever, time will tell.

January my tongue was firmly in my cheek, I have lacked your ultimate bravery to dip a toe in the water, and pleased you managed to get out with such a small percentage loss. The gravy train would undoubtedly have removed my toe had I dipped it in at all. I presume this will rinse and repeat yet again. Fascinating to watch from a safe distance!
