Knowlesi - I am expecting your usual silence to a direct question, but you need to clarify your very serious allegation today that Scancell is a 'lifestyle' company. You said 'all the evidence' points to it. So do you now take back your previous assertions that it will come good in a couple of years or do you think they have taken on increasing numbers of highly qualified staff as part of some fruitless venture? And do you think that an investor as successful as Vulpes spent five years watching this develop and then put four million quid in after a year's due diligence just to support someone else's lifestyle? Or do you know more than Vulpes? If so, please share it. I would delighted to hear your facts to back up your bold statement. After all, you have such contempt for those who you claim make sweeping statements but won't back them up.

Banter aside Knowlesi, do you think this is a lifestyle company (as you said today) or do you think it is progressing the science towards a good result (all being well obviously), as you said a few weeks ago? Because those two views are diametrically opposed and mutually incompatible.

Opinions have always varied quite wildly on this BB as they do with many shares. Today we get one poster saying 'All evidence points to a lifestyle business imo' - a pretty sweeping and damning statement - yet only a couple of weeks ago a poster said '...be under no illusion of timelines - ….I think now I have likely been too aggresive with a 2021 view. 4-5 years may be a more sensible guideline.'
So the one poster says the company is basically a sham, the other is prepared to wait several years as the science progresses. Strange thing is, both posts were by the same poster.

Hi Knowlesi- nice to see you posting again, I was getting worried some terrible mishap had befallen you. Anyway, have a look back to C7's 08.11 post could you please? He addressed a question to you which you may have missed, and it would be interesting to hear your reply to it. Your opinion would be welcome, or even your oppinion.

Looking back over the weekend (worth a reread to make one's own mind up about the quality, rather than accepting an Eeyorean dismissal) I have to say that your analysis of the market seems to be about as accurate as it is possible to call. Imo. Keep it up!

To debate, it always helps to have one's own opinion, formulated from what you have learnt and actually believe. Always difficult if you are trying to paraphrase and plagiarise on behalf of others. Never comes across as sincere or credible.

I suspect someone is slurping for brownie points from his friends in low places, and trying to fire the bullets they load for him in return. Agreed - the decision to leave the US arm behind was taken to stop what had become an indeterminate and unacceptable delay, the trial scope and detail is unchanged.

I'm also intrigued as to what may develop from the BioNtech collaboration. That in itself could be a biggie imo.

three trials running in 2020 - that would indeed be a fair development from a busy and productive first part of 2019. I would suggest there's every chance of that coming to pass at last, and should be well worth the wait!

A very interesting discussion about patents - started by Knowlesi's comment which I felt was rather on the negative side, but it set the stage for some very informative discussion, and reassured me about patent times and extensions no end. Thank you Knowlesi - you triggered some very valid points, I trust you learned as much as I did.
C7 - well done yesterday for calling the large buy and large sell that came as you predicted, but I have to point out that (for one who is presumably grouped into the unnamed 'team ramp' you failed dismally in your prediction of closing price today - you went for 7-7.25 but where did we end up? 7-7.50. You obviously need to set your sights higher. Toodle pip!

Not wanting to scrap Knowlesi, but it's 'lose' not 'loose.' I think that's something we can all agree on.
