No need to spit your dummy out Drac, you have put up a number of posts which seem to show a more pessimistic approach - all you own opinion, fair dos - but they contained a number of factual inaccuracies which C7 has corrected with the right information. Why do you have a problem with being corrected and seem to demand that C7 shouldn't reply in a helpful and civil manner, and then kick off on me like a two year old who's been told he's got to share the football with his classmates. Take a chill pill - after all, Scancell does (MOO) look very promising, and the board has been very civil lately. Why kick off just because you have been corrected? And if you don't like it, you can always filter the posters you don't want to hear from.

Was it not at the AGM that someone asked if Keith Flaherty was still on board with SCIB1 and its future, and the answer was an unequivocal 'Yes.' I think Drac needs to do some more research and less MOOing.

As C7 suggested the other day, if Sclp can get (say) 10 million per license agreement on 3 or 4 commercial deals, that pays for 3 years' overheads based on the last accounts and 2 potential trials at 7 million a piece. And remember we have potential licensing on the TCR pipeline to work on as well. The Vulpes involvement has underpinned our financial security for the foreseeable future ahead of any deal anyway, and reinforces my opinion that Scancell are ever more confident in the science to be determined to stay fully independent until such time as shareholders get the best possible return as RG showed to be his ambition many years ago. The fact the Avidimab arrangement with the enticingly described pharma ('one of the largest in the field') is non-exclusive seems to show that it is in this area that they will be able to accommodate all approaches and the ARMS Holdings scenario originally proposed by Inanaco some years ago may be a realistic expectation.

C7/Ruck - agree about the extra intuition that you get from attending AGMs. Not just the atmosphere of positivity but the approachabilty of the BoD and their open willingness to speak especially in conversation after the formal events is most useful and gives a good feeling of how things are going - and the consensus seems to be all moving ahead nicely. Unfortunately I was stuck coping with the dementia-fuelled rants of an ageing parent so couldn't attend the AGM. (Although judging by the attitude of P7 it would have been a similar situation with his contributions come to think)

Any deal or deals will come when they come. I am certainly satisfied that (as Inanaco said) the Bod are being rigorous in making sure the science is the very best that can be achieved prior to any deal, rather than getting it up to the 'pretty good' stage and rushing into a deal. And unlike some companies, I expect any deal(s) will be with someone significant, and not the 'Jolly Good Pharmaceutical Research and Bicycle Repair Company of Bangalore.' That's why our trials are being conducted in the UK (and all being well America in due course) and not farmed out to 'Sergei and Oleg's Clinic' in Kazakhstan (formerly the People's Tractor Factory). There's ticking boxes, and there's doing it meticulously. With the staff and the approach Scancell have, I'm happy they are being meticulous.

I think the nature and attitude of his posts actually led to him being permanently banned from here if I remember correctly. That at least gives a broad indication as to the quality of his posts I would suggest. Anyway, that's history. From the reports of the AGM the future looks ever more interesting to me.

Agreed dragon - I can think of a couple of events that were either recorded for that I attended, and the comments some posted bore no relation to the events.

Morning all. I think my plans to attend get scuppered by the fates. Last time I planned to go in 2016 my brother managed to push up the daisies (literally - by crashing his plane) and I have just spent most of the night dealing with parental crises so not in the mood to do the round trip to Oxford. This is most annoying, but a peril of having parents with a combined age in excess of 180. Maybe next year, or better still a highly fruitful EGM in less than a year...?!

Indeed crumbs - I shall report on who has got the newest Tesla of the board members. I don't expect to see anything older than a '19' plate, otherwise I should be most disappointed. (Well I wouldn't, but some posters here might)
JB007 - I suspect it might be more a case of next week's Oxford Bugle with the headline 'Grisly find in skip at Science Park.' Followed by 'Directors of the firm who rent the skip say they have no idea what happened, they were all far too busy scoffing caviar and drinking Bollinger while watching daytime TV to see what went on outside.' Experts have ruled out food poisoning because there was no bloody buffet. Again.

If I listened to posts from certain quarters I would be told it was purely a lifestyle company with no real products and no future. Strangely, my better judgement suggests I should go as I don't believe much of the stuff posted by those of a certain mischievous motivation.
