First things first stop replying to the 'placing coming' thread which is rubbish and fake news.

To the uneducated the shares referenced in this prospectus were for anyone who took part in the placing at the start of the year to provide funding for the Northstar deal. These were credited to their accounts and could be sold from that point on. The only difference is now the prospectus is approved the 187m 3p warrants can be exercised at the holders discretion. When any are exercised the money raised goes straight into the company bank accounts to fund the next deal so there won't be a need for a placing unless some mega deal is on the cards and needs more money but unlikely in the near term unless you want to do another prospectus haha. If all warrants were exercised that would raise over £5.6m and the company has plenty of cash in the bank as per the recent interims!!!

The prospectus is an administrative requirement but relates to a transaction that has happened in Q1 this year. It's not rocket science if you have researched what has happened this year and the timing of events. Ignore the rubbish.

I would love to be a fly on the wall and know if there is any link between the awarding of multi billion pound covid contracts and the continued renewals with China and the UK gov pulling the plug on Huawei kit? When was the last time we saw anything about this Huawei mess in the news? It would be one way of paying your way out of that. I say this as it's not unbelievable and secondly there is a complete lack of logic from the top down on utilising UK diagnostics capacity and expertise in a pandemic. China only had a first mover and mass volume manufacturing advantage on LFTs but that was 18months ago and they were crap whilst ABDX, ODX, NYCT, AVCT etc etc all have kit ready to go and sat idle and bills unpaid for goods and services supplied. Someone needs to explain why and be accountable.

Tipster/ Muck thanks I had seen that list before. My question was more about the output of approvals across the board from these notified bodies and is this a concern? I have seen lots of comments saying there are lots of applications in etc etc but personally I haven't seen the flow of approvals coming out the other end. I assume regardless of the high volumes there would be trickles of approvals as a result if not why so wanted to get others views on this element? They are unlikely to approve all at once so where are they and how can a process be so time consuming? I'm massively long AVCT for clarify but the approvals for COVID anything seem to be black holes and lack transparency on how things are progressing. Obviously approvals mean a catalyst to the next level and sales. Any thoughts welcome

Does anyone have any information on the Notified bodies which are responsible for reviewing products for HUA approvals. I was led to believe there were circa 28 of them in the EU. I'm looking to understand how many of them have approved products with an HUA recently. Obviously this impacts AVCT but surely with this many different NBs we must be due some output in terms of approvals from any and all soon otherwise what on earth are they doing??

Hopefully we can have a blue finish. MREX have been on the offer all day holding it down 120 and below for much of it. They have moved off and are now at 127 on LV2. Looks like they have cleared the stock they needed to shift at those lower levels.

Good observation Alan. Personally I hope so as the association with Pello is a problem and the sooner we move on the better. Very possible the timing of their restrictions impacted the prospectus. News can't be far away now.

Bobby I don't believe it was related to him. A few months ago there was a distressed seller of circa 15.7m shares sold in a single day but that is old news now. From what I understand that was an open T20 position that couldn't be covered and had to be closed out which hammered the SP.

Giles advised months ago to wait on news rather than spend each day on here and given the news flow has been quiet I guess so has he. That is my take but things could have changed.

I agree Stalin. Once we get the prospectus done and dusted we will be off. Worth reviewing the last RNS. Lots going on back then so expect more positive progress in the next update.

Daisy 20-340 AUM this year alone how can you say 3 years and not got started yet in a negative way. I see this very differently and this will start to get bigger very quickly and therefore more positive. Starting a fund isn’t easy and can take a lot of time but it has grown each quarter. The BOAGF was never the big ticket item and now we have many fingers in attractive strategies we are less reliant on any one of them. I have zero problems buying assets if they are value accretive, this is a tried and tested strategy and is quite normal in growing AUM which is a key objective to generate fee revenue. That’s precisely why one day I believe we will get bought out as it is easier to do that than build from scratch.

SBP can you share your evidence to suggest the Northstar insurer owner went to one of Jason’s outfits as that’s contrary to my understanding and I don’t believe GS would have been pressured into buying something that he didn’t want or see as value accretive.

I believe the delays, Pello situation have caused some to sell and move on, their choice but once this admin is sorted I do believe we will be rewarded and have been buying on the dip. The business has been growing and that’s key. The opportunity here is much better than 12 months ago.

I’m not sure why people choose to whinge so much on here when they can sell and move on. Whinging doesn’t help anyone and is likely to further damage a SP that needs news flow if you decide to hold.

The bureaucracy here stinks. You have various UK designed and manufactured tests available for many months now which are better than the Chinese rubbish they are peddling and yet there is still a complete lack of transparency on why and when this will change for the industry. You have to wonder why more common sense isn't applied here. Heads need to roll.

Well said Steve. There are is a lot of blaming going on right now. However all you need to ask yourself here is what was the AUM in Jan 2021 and What is it today! GS is having to jump through the regulatory hoops and isn't the problem. He is however building a business and that takes time.

I ordered another box of Gov rapid LFT the other day and they just arrived. The brand I have is now Orient Gene (first time I have seen these posted out but was aware they had been given a contract). Hopefully this means the supply of the other Innova rubbish has been depleted and once we go through this Chinese rubbish something UK manufactured might well come along. Here is hoping!
