I thought it was very odd seeing the 127 UT at the close yesterday. Was that to tee up todays open which was down 5% at one point on little volume when the reality was more like the MMs wanted to encourage sellers then move it up later in the day. Decent buys been going through since lunch and spread over 3%...

This am I revisited the AACR poster preclinical data walk through with AS from a few of weeks ago as it was the latest video we have had from him. I watched it twice today and each time I learnt something new from it. Worth a look as it covers a couple of big questions AVCT are trying to answer in Humans and uses examples to demonstrate the preclinical findings across a variety of cancer cells and provides stats for them.

GMCC, nice one. There seems to be plenty of new additions. I notice at the bottom after AFFIDX (of the latest update) is AFFiRX. Have we been told about this yet? I don't recall seeing anything on this previously but happy to be corrected.

Hi Timster, how sure of that meeting timing are you and how do you know this? My question would be if the last DE was on 3rd Feb a Thursday and the safety committee meet on a Tuesday why would they wait 2 days to RNS price sensitive info on the 3rd Feb if a decision to DE had been made at that safety meeting? Doesn't make sense to me.

Decent buys going through the last 10 mins under the radar 30k, 83k, 34k lucky them!

Sujood for context as I'm sure you are aware £20 is only circa £5bn... worth revisiting the expected $1.5bn in sales per annum across the US and Europe for only 3 cancer types AS confirmed yesterday in the presentation. JUST for AVA6000!!!

Cautious Optimist - One way of looking at that if I have understood you correctly is if one Prodrug drug could be used for any or multiple FAP released tumours you would need to add the current market value of each of those individual chemo products used today into the value of AVA6000 which would get considerably more valuable! That would be enormous. Given the complexity of Cancer it's likely different drugs will still be needed to treat the various types hence AVA3996 but that is my view and I'm not a scientist or Dr. More information required on the uniqueness of these drugs for a given cancer type I would say.

Baffyman I couldn't agree more. The scope and eligibility can change significantly just on the one product.

'AVA6000: The estimated market size (peak sales) of a safer / more efficacious form of Doxorubicin in JUST 3 indications (ASTS, Breast and Ovarian cancer) in the US/ EU ALONE is $1.5bn per annum..........read that again and let that sink in.

AS stated that phase 1b would focus on a fewer cancer types than the current phase. Are these ones already named here the preferred ones? Could well be!

For all those who have suffered, are suffering and will get this awful disease I hope this works. It's the most important outcome.

A solid day for AVCT today and AS did a great job presenting. The trial marches on. Great to see more UK and US sites coming on line. Why bother if you weren't happy and had a mid year deadline to meet! Dose them up.
