RE: Growth16 Jun 2022 10:39
SBP /Share22 there have been wins and loses on this journey and no one is hiding from that fact. For perspective thats not uncommon for any business these days is it. The business model is to grow AUM and revenues and they have achieved that. Your comments completely ignore this fact. The SP is a number at a point in time if you want to buy or sell your shares. This doesn't mean the business isn't growing and again you fail to acknowledge that fact. As the sentiment, execution of the strategy and financial numbers improve so will the SP.
Everyone is entitled to their personal views on management and the decisions made. Share22 you previously said dividends were paid when they were not so you were incorrect and that was my point. The majority of the losses are non reoccurring items anyway. The options issued were for multiple years and although I'm not completely happy with them for a variety of reasons the benefit of them is that when exercised money will be coming back into the business to further execute the business growth strategy which means they are incentivised to deliver. It also significantly reduces the likelihood of having any future placing with short term traders/ holders which inevitably has been a drag factor for months on the SP. I know many who sold out taking some profit as many typically do. You only have to look at the wider macro environment, the market sell offs, the changes in sentiment, over leveraged investors etc etc to realise all businesses will be impacted. Small cap stocks with limited liquidity are not immune to this fact so there are not many areas having a great time at the moment.
Most directors of a listed company would be earning more than Boris so that is a poor comparison. No growth since IPO.... AUM up Revenues up. A lot of people were disappointed about the RCF outcome but thats the way it goes you win some and lose some. Those invested had a chance to buy and sell at 8p and some did and some didn't, but they must take responsibility for their investment decisions not blame others. Had GS only focused on that strategy we wouldn't have a business or approaching 700m AUM now. You can be unhappy but at least try to have a balanced debate about the pros and cons here.
