PP never said it was, im just putting well known facts out re wholesale , your one of worst for having a go about research and mentionibg how much money you have invested so my opinion is one of shock that you arent aware of BH wholesale and correcting you when telling other people on here that BH didnt wholesale in a fairly polite manner.

Danl90 do you Asos building a warehouse ? Im not aware of them building a factory unless ive missed some Leics Fty as a gesture but surprised ive not heard. Big diff in cost and return warehouse v fty.

@PP1 given the money you got invested here im quite surprised your not aware on actual Arcadia numbers and the fact BH didnt pull out Wholesale , they were dropped by all there accounts, which was one of the reasons share price then tanked.

Pp1 the revenue came from multi sources inc substantial retail and wholesale offer, as discussed BH not interested in stores so the revenue you mention will be alot less for just online.

PP1 Asos aren't interested in the stores either, if Asos get TS/ TM then its bad news for BH.

JD and AB get Topman/Topshop-Admins like fact they can trade the stores.
Shein gets DP/Burtons-Gives them a different age group and demo with a foot hold into a more Western Structured company
BH gets Miss S -Pick up for a steal at 20m, full structure in place, just have to trade and run with it, they have a different audience to BH/PLT yet same age.

@PM, you just answered your own question, Topshop and Topman appeal to similar age range as BH but totally different demographic, Bh needs to widen thier appeal , Topman/ Topshop can do this for them in spades, Distribution, Buying Teams, SS21 ranges , Structure inc compliance and large wide range of factories and sourcing honed over 20 plus years all in place. Its T'd up all on a plate ready to go, it will gain traction very quickly gain traction very quickly if marketing is put behind it. Not sure BH will be in running as they prob wont want stores.

Debenhams has some value as a recognised Department Store Brand with online presence, it will work on a smaller scale with shops in rignt place if bought at right price and leases negotiated at rates reflecting turnover of each site. Topshop/ Topman is a different beast, its Global and has a massive following dismiss if you will but in right hands this will be a massive force.

300 m is a lot for TS/TM online only, if this inc some stores then ok but Shein is not a retailer, JD /AB are plus online .
Perhaps 300m bid is for all remaining Brands, who knows.

Splice I think Superdry's best days are in the past, posted about this y.day, its become the Mums/Dads Sunday Pub and Devon and Cornwall wear, it perhaps still has it's place but very limited, whacking branding all over a garment kills the brand , once you have done this it's really tricky to get back, Duffer of St George, was a cool Indie brand, could have been a Paul Smith but the founders, were , shall we say liked a good time, my view but they sold out for big orders on Hoodies and splashed Duffer all over front, Jamie Oliver got hold of one and was photographed in it on one of his books. The disciples that loved, bought and ultimately made the brand what it was ran away and within 12 months was in Debenhams, the rest is history. My view only but i think SD has had its day as a behemoth where it was forced to go.

If true re Shein its understandable as they desperately need the infrastructure in the West. Would love to know where the funding for this is coming from, all other bids transparent this one total opposite.

@danl90 just looked they do have Beauty and Cosmetic tab, looks like uts your dreaded 3rd party and bought as wholesale Brand. If they managed to actually buy an successful indie company then would def give this offer a boost, lots of influencers have set up there own make up brands.
