@Halliwell Unfortunately few on here see the back ground noise of this, its pretty complicated.
For proper ESG you cannot simply issue a contract with out doing full compliance inspections, these inspections are incredibly thorough, one stray carton in an aisle or a chair in front on a fire door is a fail, in our fty we have a sprinkler system, a must, yet despite this after Rana Plaza we were instructed to have a fire hose with separate water tank placed on the ground floor that reached the top floor (3rd) this was in case of a sprinkler system failure, we were give 60 days to comply, we of course did at great cost, for some compliance due to the number of workers we have even had to increase the number of toilets, we have more loo's than many of the London offices i go into all put together!!
My view is that the City see's many positives with BH but also many issues, this is why bad news lies heavy on this share, investors see it as another hurdle, when you look at Asos they see the Tax issue as a burden but it s against the back drop of lesser issues, with BH its god we see massive potential but it's just had another weight added to it to get there, so it falls heavily and rises slowly.
If out of the blue tomorrow BH suddenly dropped the Asos ESG link i have posted onto their website and posted all sorted here you go check out what we've done then these shares would rise by £1.00 instantly, sadly never gonna happen, what happens is that they announce they have bought companies at great prices and City goes wow thats awesome, then think oh god how the hell they going to control all of this. JL/AR know how to, can and will but at mo bit like their link its all words, some point we will start to see the fruits of the action but its a massive task and if anyone underestimates it then they are just plain wrong.
To give you anotheer idea, Friday we had a mail from Senior Asos management about the deal, working practices , stock and intentions, same day mails from T/S/TM buyers saying this week they would be transferring to Asos h/o and being given induction courses, all emails now changed to Asos ID and contracts are currently being transferred onto Asos system, a rota system is in place for in office working, we had our first enquiry yday for 4000pcs asking for urgent delivery, we are btw compliant on both systems.
Yesterday for the first time we had correspondence from Burtons saying at mo we are still in Colegrave House we think for another couple of weeks, probably going to be working from Euston Rd (BH London Brands) but tbc bit chaotic, any buys are being kept to 200pcs, so far not one mail from BH. Ok it's early days but they are stretched and City knows it.
I gradually bought into BH, i'm all in not because they are perfect but i think they can be perfect and see value long term, i just question how long it will take.
