RE: Planning Formally Lodged8 Mar 2021 15:03
Hi Mmix, I don't ever think that BH's plan was to make 100% of Leics production in their own Fty, just not poss, what they are doing is making Leics 100% compliant and of course BH Fty will be a big statement. I can see that this will be made a bench mark of how to produce clothing in the UK, which once used to be so common. There are whole Ftys now producing T Shirts and Jeans by robots, not suggesting that BH will fully mechanise but they will 100% make this state of Art like nothing we have seen in this country in the rag trade for many a year. Why anyone thinks it will be anything less given the managements vanity and Bling nature is beyond me, it will be a Bling Bling Bling Fty that ticks all the boxes and some. Issue is not this, issue is rest of the Group, production is spread far and wide, as i mentioned previously on these pages Compliance Teams and strong Auditing partnerships are key, this is being implemented, despite ourselves being a Green Fty they still insisted on bringing Auditors in, this is extremely encouraging. S/T shares a dog and swanning around Dubai sticks in the throat, no one likes a show off unless your a GG which is of course the whole point and how they got where they are, ok stick to this for GG but with Debs you will see a whole diff attitude. In meantime i'll say it time and time again, sell, buy , sell, buy, sell but at mo i'd buy buy buy, because once people start to see whats happening and good outweighs past history then it will fly, i see a big sentiment change but not before end of Q3, in meantime yeah scabby dog, no argument.
