I was at the investor meet back in June, there was a guy there who managed some German funds and was looking at investment opportunities with Alpha he seemed to like the company and would be happy to invest later at a higher SP, think he mentioned he would prefer to bu at 10p rather than the 2 or 3p it was then. So we know that the big money is looking at Alpha but will be waiting for those big number AUM before they plough their money in

Barney it's still a bargain right now. As has been said with such a low free float with a lot in very sticky hands this will bag easily on first contract news. My initial target before I sell any is 8p which is 4 bags from here could easily do that in a session on the right news

Certainly some interest today. Reliable source tells me one individual has bought over 2 million today. What have they heard to invest a decent sized chunk of cash into ALGW?

Capital1 I agree but in all honesty I dont see DEV existing this time next year, I'd expect them to be bought out long before then so the big boys can have exclusive rights to the tech.

Dont think we will see any lower than 3.6 now. In fact I'm expecting an RNS in the morning and a rise through 4p. Resistance at 4.2p has been a tough nut to crack but if that goes then it's a clear path towards 6p

I'm confused Starbuck you say you dont hold a position here nor do you intend to. Why not leave the board alone and allow the grown ups to have an informed discussion. Jarvy is extremely knowledgeable about this share and quite frankly I'm offended by your attitude. You clearly dont know anything about taxation regulations. I personally wouldn't waste my time with a share i wasnt invested in. I cant be bothered looking through your posting history as quite frankly life is too short when theres good food to be eaten, expensive whisky to be consumed and big fat cigars to be smoked, however I would hazard a guess and say you dont have a good word to say about any share you comment on. You're a typical troll who may (or may not be) paid to continually **** off a share so those above you who have a lot more money can get their entry prices. Jarvy has done an excellent chart for NUOG which confirms I'm extremely happy with my investment here and expect to make significantly more from it than you would in 5 years. I didnt go to to the presentation, but feedback I've had was that from a DEV perspective it was excellent. What's more interesting is the people who attended as DEV guests.

No chance this is dropping to placing price. The lenovo news will come sooner rather than later. I guess the pace is being controlled by lenovo rather than DEV. If what I've been hearing is correct then when its announced its company making news.

Based on a 1% initial fee and a 10% profit share the figures are approximately as follows:
£50m AUM 9p, £100m AUM 20P £200M AUM 40p
Obviously if the initial fees etc are higher then those figures will be higher

Yes woody I've seen it, the VR stuff made me think of DEV straight away too. IF (and I'm confident) they are going to be a partner with EDUCATE then that is massive news. It's taking the DEV educate concept global, imagine every High School in the western world using VICTAR to show kids what the world outside of education (and indeed in continuing education) can be like. Imagine the revenues generated from universities, employers etc wanting to get their programmes onto the system. It is massive and is partly why I really dont see DEV existing this time next year. I'm sure theyll be bought out by one of the majors

Dont imagine there'll be any more IPO selling. Those that wanted out are now out. There will be selling as a lot of shares were bought around 3p so 6p is a nice bag. Think the demand will be there at 6p and then onwards to double figures thereafter

I was at the investor lunch in June and have spoken with GS several times since. Very very happy and confident with my holding here. Once the news lands SP could be anywhere from 8p to 30p all depends on how much AUM they've managed to land. I would expect first deals will be between $50 million and $100 million which should equate to 8p to 15p if they land $200 million (which isn't unrealistic) then I'll be a very very happy man

It's a big buy because the buyer sees great value at these levels. News could drop anytime on this and the company have previously stated in various RNS that some discussions are (were then) at advanced stages. I wouldn't be surprised to see an RNS very shortly confirming $200 million AUM, now imagine what that will do to the SP.

At best, the tech succeeded in heating the shale and a little bit of oil was in ine antenna (out of how many??) Hardly a glowing endorsement. Looks to me like theres a whole lot more work needed to be done before any further testing can be carried out. I'd guess (if the tech works, and right now it doesnt) it's a couple of years minimum

Investilam, in reply to your post, my short term target (end of year) is for DEV to have a mcap of around £100m which equates to an SP of around 27p. Longer term (next 12 to 18 months) I dont expect DEV will exist, theyll be bought out by one of the major tech companies who will want to get their hands on the disruptive tech DEV had to offer. My personal thoughts on a buyout price, in excess of 40p per share. Once figures are released with regards to contract values etc the market will be blown away by what Chris and the team have achieved in the 8 months since listing.
