Mark Ward didnt TR1 after the director buys which diluted his holding so he has obviously been adding to his position. 1% of the company is just over 2 million shares so if he (or anyone else) has been accumulating then a TR1 is highly possible

If it is, and I think it probably is, he is clearly a wealthy individual having put probably £600k into IDP so I would imagine if he sees value here (which he obviously does) then he is likely to be buying more ALGW

Guess we will find out in the next day or so, if no TR1 could well be someone accumulating and therefore into sticky hands taking another near million out of the free float which is as we all know small enough to make this stock move quickly on any volume

Has anybody asked any director of a company why they havent bought more shares? Ridiculous question and deramp attempt.

I have no doubt that as soon as the ridiculous quarantine restrictions are lifted then GS and DS will be arranging a meeting with the lender and getting the signatures on paper as soon as possible. When the RNS confirming that is released you will struggle to buy these at twice the current SP. ALGW is not a share you can trade easily right now, definitely one for the investors at this time, buy and hold for the news then either sell on the news or hold for bigger gains. Mr Khan, Mr & Mrs Fitzherbert, Mr Ward and Mr Alder certainly believe enough in the company to invest significant amounts of money. Why would they do that?

Yes it's a fair question but adding statements such as "given the lack of significant progress recently, I have my doubts" isnt necessary to get an answer to your question and brings negativity to the board. I'm all for balanced argument and agree the good and the bad should be open for discussion but unsubstantiated remarks do nothing to promote discussion. Perhaps you would care to share your concerns and what "significant progress" you had expected "recently" then we can discuss

If you have doubts then sell up and take your negativity somewhere else.

Another nice day of consolidation. Happy for it to hover around these levels for now, just waiting on a couple of other shares to come good and then I can move that money over here.

Reckon GR will do his usual and make his bad news announcement at 4:31pm today

Declared major shareholders hold roughly 50% of the company. I know of several others holding between 1 and 5 million shares so that probably takes out another 10% plus there will be plenty of others holding 500k to 1 million who are going to hold for the longer term opportunity ALGW offers. A speculative guess at the available freefloat would be around 25% of the shares in issue so not much really

ALGW will eventually appear on the radar, I look at these prices as opportunities to keep accumulating. We now have another TR1 holder which reduces the freefloat and we all know how quickly this moves

Sent another email to GS today, hopefully get a reply shortly and I will share if he replies.
On a side note I've been hearing some very disturbing things about the actions of some shareholders. I dont know individual names or twitter handles etc but if any of those are in here, you really should be ashamed of yourselves, your actions have been abhorrent to say the least and I've no idea what you could have expected to gain from them other than to alienate the bod from communicating with shareholders. We all want this company to succeed but childish actions wont help.

So in effect a dilution of around 1.7% has taken place unless Mr Ward has been buying more we can expect a TR1 confirming now below 5% and possibly the same from Giles although Giles has stated he has added so may not have been diluted below 5%

Shares weren't bought on the open market they were issued by the company directly to the directors so the drop in price yesterday has nothing to do with their purchase

I have also voted NO. I dont believe GR should be granted the additional headroom until the dangled carrots are available for closer inspection. Hes failed to deliver on too many occasions and spouted too much rubbish to be credible

Lots of information is passed through the telegram groups from people heavily invested in the companies they talk about. Many have the ear of the BOD members and are privy to additional (non price sensitive) information. I personally rarely post any information I get on here simply because it has a wider audience of mainly traders. I'm mainly an investor, although I do hold a certain number of shares to trade. I'm certainly not going to share my information with the trading community, I will happily share with fellow investors who look at the bigger picture rather than where the next 10% is coming from
