RE: So tell me more about free float again9 Jul 2020 21:54
Yes you can buy plenty and yes there are plenty being sold and as has been demonstrated over the last couple of days this share moves quickly on volume. Yesterday we had the buys and the sells, the sellers were most likely long term holders underwater who saw an opportunity to get out with a small profit, loss or break even. All of yesterday's action was pretty much based on a research note from HullFC which was confirmed by Giles but wasnt confirmed by the company. Speculative buys by traders saw an increase in the SP. Todays fall was expected and we should now hold around this level until the update from the company. We are still 30% up from 2 or 3 weeks ago and over 100% up from earlier this year. We had a buyer for 1.2 million shares yesterday at 2.5p wouldnt care to speculate if that's Mark Ward or Mr Alder increasing their holdings or perhaps another investor seeing the opportunity that ALGW presents. The fact is the free float here is low, its not about how many you can buy it's about the price you pay. Ophidian was keeping track and reckoned the MMs were short by a few million (7 I think but stand to be corrected) so that tells you a lot!!!
