Hi Grayling, right I think I see what you're saying. If crips, drips and scrips are no good to then it's an issue affecting many shares for you and not something that is unique to rolls Royce shares. I elected for c shares here to be converted to cash which was a problem free process. Think the whole isa thing is a yawn - with some brokers charging you for them to keep any eye on a stocks and shares isa for you. Withrdew my funds from Legal and General isa fund as they took hefty fees and split it over three projects with fees for each. Not sure a cash isa is much good either with budget changes on tax on savings interest.
In the case of your particular brokers, I think they offer reduced commission rates once a month for a certain length of time and they offer longer reduced commission rate spells for their most loyal and successful traders and investors.
