Various different public holidays around now affecting different members of the family at different times and our half term just around the corner. Down a fortune here but must have traded pmo about 90 times since encore days all to good effect . Don't think the management there could now shun a merger should ophir feel inclined to try again. Thought I would respond to you on the relevant bb about the ftse 250 exit stuff. Maybe the merger between pmo and ophir will be mooted again. I agree with you that commodities cannot stay down in price forever but that means all commodities though oil has the fracking challenge to deal with. Sorry about the delay in getting back to you - local holiday weekend here. Usually this just follows the precious metals prices up and down. Haven't a clue where it might go next - the laugh is the nor does anybody else despite pages and pages worth of analysis lol. atb.

Had my first punt here yesterday in a wee while but closed out as it is a holiday weekend in these parts and remember trying to sell half my then rbs at 58.75 several years ago before that holiday weekend and not getting another bite at the cherry until about 7 months later. See a lot of posts comparing the mining companies which is perhaps a pointless exercise. They are all where they are because of the metal prices and are all very volatile. Of those paying a divi, you have to wonder if it is even the right thing to do. If you are playing today good luck.

See the share price dipping to near the year low and am likely to buy soon because I like companies opening their doors to the public and selling products with the funds raised going to a charity. I actually do agree that email and bb communication with folk you don't know can be interpreted the wrong way. For one thing, people often have different senses of humour etc. etc. and there is not body language or even a light hearted tone of voice like you would pick up on a phone. That said, I think Arsenal is quite right to cheer on a company he is invested in and has faith in and his wife works for. There was another guy on these bbs was shorting the company his wife worked for and would probably be the first to get irritated if she was selected for redundancy. It's not as if arsenal is putting strong buy recommendations on here on a daily basis and then disappearing to enjoy the fruits of the lucre. I'd rather see an honest investor being open about their holdings than these devious sorts who are deramping then ramping in turn and shorting and never declaring a personal interest in anything or if they do it is after the event. I know Gerry from other boards Arsenal. He was slightly pessimistic at times with another share all the way up from the 60s to the 90s and sometimes optimistic all the way back down to the 70s again with the same share. It's just his way. Let's try and be pleasant as we are all apparently invested here and if anybody wants to sell up they can (or are these share save lock in things). Thanks bonz. I find info like that of some interest not sure many lsers would. Podiatry I think is the new term for chiropody. Mabye an occupational therapist or physio could offer some help. Evening well lego's looking at buying back into pfd and he's a canny investor/trader. Think deniscaff is investing in oil while the prices are low so not sure if he is looking at food. Trying to find out if abf is one of the ftse100 companies paying a living wage - probably not if Primark are selling trainers for £8.
