Share price holding up well at the moment despite having a near 30% stake here. Now I can see why the company had holdings in jjb and jd but would suggest that it has a different reason for having such large position here and an increased position fairly recently. If it is a case of sitting back and cherry picking then you can do that with no current exposure to Debenhams surely.

It went from 10p to being taken out at more than 15 times that as I recall and I know some of the more pessimistic posters on here today will also recall that experience.

Just heard that MKS is paying an 18 year old £8 per hour over the summer in one of the food only branches. If so it is more than some professional offices are paying their relatives over the summer. But really I think your comments should be addressed to a n other as you will have only have seen a few buy and sell recommendations on here from me at a few opportune times. Most of the time, I couldn't guess one way or the other here which is why I have been trading other shares of late. Late Call just caught site of your posts. I think if you bought any at 50p which you are still holding then it has been entirely your own fault as you seem to know very little. If deb's goes bust all the directors get is there P45s. If you have been reading the bbs for years, you will be aware that I sold debs shares at over £1 several Christmases ago and have traded the share at various prices - as the share price has been all over the place for all of those years. Only thing I can suggest to cheer you up is to watch the Rev I . M. Jolly as the pontificating miserable minister of the cloth and see if the sanctimonious old moaner reminds you of anybody.

My broker simply said it is not something they think is suitable for a retail investor which is a bit of a shame given the rise in price today. They are allowing sells of any allocated as part of the demerger process. I think I need a new broker or big bad John to have a word with them for me.
