Been occupied with a new pedigree puppy. Had a mongrel with a sad end around this time of year when I was wee. It was now or never for the pup as the children have wanted one for years and could have left home by the time I finally got round to it. I suppose you could get a new wee dug Russell to keep you company as they are more loving than most human beings. Talking of endings, bought dignity as it is the boom time of the year for them - going well. Haven't bought any out and out numpty shares for a while. Must be improving with this malarkey. Better year than last year but still a range of sick and or elderly relatives needing my time and energy. Good year for the children and not requiring the expense of halls of residence or flats as found perfect courses within daily commuting distance. Arra best for 2018.

No as far as I'm concerned. Never mind India Kenny. I'm a Scot who wouldn't expect a corner shop to lose my payments so I get a bit irritated with a financial institution doing this on a regular basis with pension payments. What the Dickens is going on?

Always good when the blame for delays can be laid at somebody else's door but I am not sure lost pension payments can be passed off as somebody else's problem. Really not happy with this lot. Have been told through an intermediary that they would prefer big lump sums rather than lots of small payments then when they got a big payment it was lost and the deadline is about a fortnight from investment date. Saw fit to cash in another investment as they couldn't find the payment. There are other pension companies out there and I am seriously looking into going elsewhere.

I think all we can say is that Woodford has a fairly mixed track record probably like the rest of us. Arguably sold Tesco at the right time but not Rolls Royce but he has been left holding the baby more than once recently with cpi and pfg. Hi Arsenal, I know you have a close relative works for rr. so respect your loyalty to the company. I have a more distant relative works for cpi (another company Woody backed) but let's just say I'm glad I wasn't too loyal there. Asked husband to get me the beauty advent calendar at marks supposedly worth �250 but about �35 with a similar spend on certain items. Sold out. I am just going to have to go a bit more upmarket with the old lotions. Not that I have any cellulite as the usual festive whisky marmalade seems missing from the shelves.
