Yes, 2025 looking like a pivotal year for MAFL. Bought my first tranche of these in 2017 so a pretty long haul. Solid stock and JV is cautious for sure, but would be nice to see a bit more activity by JV in terms of monetising investments and also on the PR front. Great little company but so few know about it.

I certainly get the impression from my occasional comms with the company that H1 is generating more satisfaction and positivity rather than any concern wrt the pressure issue. It's flowing very nicely without stimulation already and is expected to increase output steadily as they get everything in place. H2 is a puzzler as they feel they've hit the same oil bearing trend as H1 but the flow is struggling. Again, my impression is they will get a tune out of H2 but maybe not until the winter passes. What is 100% certain is that they have no thought of plugging and abandoning H2.

One day nearer the next update...comms from the company point to everything going pretty well with H1 in particular which is generating some excitement as they bring the pressure under control. H2 is being worked on but is far from an abandoned well - my belief is that they think they can get a decent tune out of it. Apparently some meaningful news from Sunsteppe before the end of January. No debt, which is pretty amazing really given where they are operating. I also believe they will arrange some RBL once the deal with PC is given the go-ahead to sell the stockpiled oil, and ongoing production, by Mrpam. We are looking at the last bits of the jigsaw dropping into place as we post. Exciting times. Can't think of a better oiler to be in down at this end of the market. Risks still for sure, but this is AIM so that's to be expected. All the half-headed negs like Stas et al do is simply point out the what ifs, as if we don't know the risks. Pointless people leading pointless lives.

The fact that Heron 1 can produces over 821bopd, and that the problem is too much pressure tells you all you need to know. Bet they're working on the pressure managment system right now...and all the time the oil continues to pump. There's nothing the green box mushrooms can do about that. That's all I'm interested in. I bet we're already way over 200bopd, probably over 300. They won't want to be hanging about. Sign-off in soon and BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!
