Worth keeping an eye on the weather in Eastern Mongolia. It's playing ball atm it seems to me - cold but dry and not viciously cold during the day. Drilling not possible as I'm sure the ground is frozen solid now but possibly ok to do some topside or downhole work? - average daytime looks about -8 for the next couple of weeks with the odd very cold day. But dry ie no snow for the foreseeable. Just guessing, but maybe those with more expertise could expand on this?

Enjoying the board today. Talking about the company rather than obsessing about the share price manipulation by the MM's. The odd green box mushroom - timed you'll notice just when they though the share price was going to slide and disappeared once it strengthened, traders looking to push the sp as low as poss to buy in - but not many at all.

Intriguing images from H2 from Master - clearly they are still working on something there. Maybe installing downhole gear to get those oil shows to show more 'enthusiasm? As others have pointed out, H1 has clearly exceeded expectaions, hence Buck's being 'pleased' with it - Buck saying 'pleased' is about as excited as he can actually get!

I'll say it again but H1 is the company-maker. High pressure is a good problem to have, although as others have said quite credibly it might well 'settle' as time passes but clearly it's capable of somewhere near 1000bopd if they manage it right. I'm happy with slow and steady though, don't rush it so nobody gets hurt and the integrity of our well is protected.

Bit of FOMO maybe this afternoon with the Mrpam sign-off not far away? We'll see, nothing guaranteed but nice to see the board looking at positive possible outcomes which, of course, is perfectly NORMAL for an investors' board.

Yes, funny how the negs avoid the fact that we are WELL FUNDED, even more so now we have spent 2 million less on H2 than was anticipated. Mrpam gives us the sign-off and we've got a nice bit of income too through the Winter. Let's not forget that the Mongolians 'instructed' us to start producing at Heron 1. They want it as much as we do.

The investment case has never been stronger. As Investor is saying, it looks like this is a drop engineered by the MM's - certainly the recent RNS's said nothing to justify such a drop.

We learned that H1 is a company-making well and that the Mongolians want us to crack up with production.

The Mongolians 'instructed' us to start production after years of pointless barries blocking it. Nobody can seriously argue that the Mrpam sign-off will now form any kind of barrier. Money from H1 incoming, cash in the bank and 2 million earmarked for H2 now available to for other uses (I think this is more than just an unforeseen consequence) should see us though the four months of winter quite comfortably. That's pretty clear and incontrovertible.

Let's not forget that the winter is usually less than four months. Winter can then be spent on the other PSC's, starting to sound out banks for future RBL to grow the business via the Heron field, work on the design for H1 pressure management system and source the kit, get DQE ready to go, carry on analysing Gobi, work out how to get oil-rich H2 flowing, developments from Sunsteppe flagged for Q1. Oh, and updates on H1 monthly production.

I've said before, for the first time we can look forward to winter as a news-rich period.

I confess I'm not a chartist Investor, but those are interesting observations there. The MM's basically doing what they like with the SP in order to position themselves for maximum end of year returns would fit with that. Would also fit with the oft-quoted anomaly here that, counterintuitively, the MATD has often risen in the news-lean winter months.

Those are good numbers Abzzba. The company is producing oil, will produce more and more. Simple really.

Nothing can detract from these facts. Amazing how many people say they sold after the company started producing oil, its raison d'etre, for the first time in its entire history. I think that tells us all we need to know about the sheeplike mentality of a large swathe of investors. Onwards, asset rich and soon to be cash rich.
