I personally think there is enough there with this outfit to hold my investment. Indeed, I added a few today and am happy with my average. We all know the issues and the frustrations over the years but it seems perverse to me that people sell off just as the company looks like it might actually start making money ofr the first time ever. In fact, on reflection, it just goes to show how shallow the investment community is at this end of the market. Investors are all over the little oilers when they are in their wildcat, no assets but promising the earth phase - think 88e, Gbp etc. Once the companies get to the business end of income, production, distribution etc, the herd gets cold feet and goes off to try to find the next el Dorado. Bless 'em.

I suspect that JV will monetize an asset fiarly early in the year so as not to allow the SP to drift like it often does in the absence of news. He holds a huge number of these shares so must be as frustrated as the rest of us about the sp tracking the NAVPS by such a massive discount. And the RNS made clear that it's the final sign-off from PC that will trigger the selling. I suspect the export permit just needs formalising ie pre-agreed in principle already. Buck has given himself a pretty tight deadline - February for the money to start rolling in so it seems a fair conclusion that he's pretty confident that the light is getting pretty big at the end of the tunnel. A long tunnel to be sure, but nearly there. Next news for me will either be regarding the Sunsteppe battery project, or the second PSC. I've said many times that this winter shutdown will be the first news rich one the company has had. I think what a lot of people miss here is that Heron is flowing without assistance and is shoked back whilst pretty standard issues with gas and filtration are sorted. Nobody has mentioned that, according to the RNS, the excess gas might turn into a real benefit. Capturing and storing it are now part of the gas management plan. Great for the eco-credentails if they can minimise flaring in the long run too. That was a nice littel bonus in the RNS that nobody has mentioned. It just sounds to me that Heron is fitting the bill just nicely and come Summer we should expec t the Bopd from H1 to be well north of 200bopd. H2 flows also, but just too slowly atm. Mike Buck mentioned that even the current 30bopd already achieved almost makes it a viable financial proposition so it might not take too much for them to bring this one online later in the year. They are doing the analysis on this well now. As I said, ignoring the greenbox fungi, i genuinely see this company starting to make progress. Faltering steps for sure, but the right direction.

Nicetomichu - why would anyone spend their time running down a company in which they claim to have invested? I binned Doc because they only ever posted negativity and took great delight in other people's losses. Your post makes literally no sense. If you are invested you are only going to be bullish as to not be defies logic. Nobody is blind to the fact that this is Aim and so the risk comes with the territory. Your trying to normalise the behaviour of posters who speciously clain to be invested but never say a fecking decent word about the company is disingenuous at best. So we can effectively add 2p to the published NAVPS, pushing it over 30p for the first time. Plus he's dangled a carrot with the multiple monetisation events envisaged through 2025. And then we might even get a resolution to the final 15% of Lagoa Salgada that's still to be finalised. ThPlenty to look forward to then for 2025. Good heads-up to the start the year.

I see one of the greenbox mushrooms is trying the old 'single big seller' scare tactic again. Tiresome people. Not one of them has ever been upfront about how they are trying to make money here, which is the object of the exercise. Absolutely awash with the deramping greenboxers this morning on the back of a 'steady as she goes' RNS. Literally nothing negative we didn't already know but we have a new PSC secured and the deal with PC inching towards a successful conclusion in a month or so and money incoming shortly. We've always known that things happen slowly in Mongolia and it's frustrating but it just isn't news anymore. Little drop is just a great opportunity to top-up, as I've done.

I still see no other small-cap oiler in this space that offers so much potential upside for so low a buy-in. I mean we are producing, we are on the cusp of income for the first time ever, we have diversified into sustainable energy and are due an update soon, we have more acreage to explore and are looking for a partner to do so with, we have been instructed to get on with oil production by the Mongolian authorities, we have no debt which is incredible, we are solvent, H1 is flowing nicely without any help at all, tweaks will up the bopd in short order, our netback is very healthy indeed and should grow if anything, other wells are being worked on to bring then onstream and so much more. All for an MCAP of 20mill!!! Ignore the trolls, the sick, the lame, the lazy, the mentally unwell, the abusers and wishers of cancer on other posters (Adw198), the manipulators, the liars, the schadenfreude addicts, and the plain old motiveless malgnancies. Great little company with so many irons in the fire. Lean and hungry and with no debt and literally no upsides priced in.

I've got news for you - share prices can go up as well as down, Stockmaiden. It literally surprises er, no-one.

No CEO in their right mind would raise 16mill for all the drills and destroy their entire shareholder base in one go. Literally not one single shareholder has an average anywhere near a penny per share so such a ridiculous raise would be against the interests of every single shareholder. Build the company on the back of income. No income, no further drilling and stick to what qwe have until things change. The stated idea is for the income generated as each well comes onstream to fund the next one, or at least provide the basis for some borrowing, RBL, etc. Talk of a raise 16mill at a penny is just lazy scaremongering and nothing more. Mike Buck clearly talked about looking at some debt options as a way of building the company, as any viable business does. I do wish people would stop with these outlandish scenarios as it just makes them look stupid.

Thanks for the link Nomlungu. The company has a very secure base to push on now and take a few more risks, and to start monetising a few juicy holdings, as he avers. I was a bit surprised at the low cash held although I guess the bullion holding is as good as and the aforementioned monetising will release more. My only quibble is that he doesn't therefore get tempted to do another piddling raise this year and destroy what little sp momentum we currently have. A very minor concern hopefully.

If you think that will happen then you should definitely sell. Only an idiot would stay invested if they believe such a scenario will happen.

My view Londonsuede is that the lack of impact of the recent 'big' RNS's has made Buck rethink the way he puts news out. Any slight weakeness in the message, even if it's overwhelmingly positive, is seized uppon by MM's and traders, to push the SP down which is exactly how things have played out. I mean, the company is producing oil for the first time in its history and yet this has not been sufficient to counteract the negative rhetoric. If nothing else, this conundrum must have given him pause for thought to ponder the best way to use news to drive the sp up. I'm certain he won't raise while the sp is on the floor so there's a double imperative to get the message right - push the sp up for long-suffering holders and get it sufficiently high to allow a raise which doesn't dilute the company's most loyal investors to oblivion, himself included. My view is that he's waiting for every 'i' to be dotted and every 't' to be crossed before the next RNS is issued. Learn the lesson of the recent past and make sure all the news is rolled in to one big unequivocally positive statement that will give the sp the kick north we all need. He's realised that dribbling out the news while there's still 'ifs' and 'buts' just hasn't worked and has has the opposite to the desired effect. If he hasn't thought along these lines then he should not be a CEO as his main responsibilty is to shareholders. I'm sure he's smart enough to realise that the next company statements have to by absolutely watertight and definitive with everything in place for the company to start generating income.

Be careful you don't upset Adw by disagreeing with them too much - we all know what they tend to say when they are made to look stupid - insults, abuse, wishing cancer on people, revelling in poeples' losses... a really nasty piece of work.
