I still think the Mongolians themselves will now take a big role in helping Matd develop quickly, including with financial support. They need Matd to succeed for a whole range of reasons now and in recent months have really upped their game. Just look at how quickly this week's land agreement came through and that's after they'd already done a regulatory workaround to help us start production before winter set in. Yes agree, fully expecting H1 production to ramp up a lot in the coming months. Don't forget, the thing is flowing nicely without stimulation and they are planning to collect and use the gas which is there and currently constraining production for safety reasons. It's a bit like having too many great strikers and having to drop one! I'll repeat what I've said before, that H1 alone has the ability to be the company-maker. H2 flows at a slower rate and it is hoped that the work being planned for it will increase it from 30bopd. Indeed there are wells brought onstream elsewhere in the basin producing at this low rate.

Just keep posting positively as the story unfolds. The key point about today, for example, is how quickly the Mongolians sorted this having already done a temporary workaround to get production started. By Mongolian standards hitherto,this was done at lightning speed! I was surprised to see this happen already so wasn't expecting the final licence for some time. Also, the agreement with PC in block 19 is awaiting signature by the operator and the RNS from Jan 16 clearly states that sales will then commence. My reading from this was that the export licence shouldn't create too much of a roadblock. The RNS today supports this as it is clear that the Mongolians are suddenly very keen to get this sorted so that the oil, and cash, can start flowing. No doubt in my mind.
