Look at Sanderson at UKOG. He never bought in to his company in such a way, but he kept his job and pay packet. Buck has put his money where hid mouth is. Fact.

Yes, I always find it ridiculous that the negs try to argue that Buck putting a big chunk of his salary into his company is not significant because either he earns so much that it can afford to lose it (honestly, I've seen this argument put here multiple times) or because he got the shares at a discount. The latter always seems to ignore the fact that whatever price he got HE STILL PUT IN 100K OF HIS OWN MONEY! Never thought I'd see the day when it is argued that director buys have no significance but that's what has been argued here endlessly.

Pointless asking Doc for a straight answer to that Wos. They are not capable of honesty. I block anyone who claims to be invested and then posts nothing but doomsday scenarios all the time. I blocked Doc a while back for this and it seems from others' posts that they are just carrying on doing the same old dishonest stuff. It's really a microcosm of what is basically ruining the world. In our post- truth age what matters is how loud and how often you can say the same thing to get enough people thinking the same way. It has made the world an awful, dangerous, shallow place. Bulletin boards like this are just the thin end of a very large wedge.

Price is purely market mechanics now, as you suggest Wos. Nothing has changed wrt fundamentals. For me, a whole raft of RNSs to come in the next few weeks. I believe these will generally be positive. If you don't believe that then sell now. Simple really. I'll carry on posting as I'm invested. If you're not invested why are you here? As ever, the question that is never addressed.

That's the binary, I agree. My belief is that the company is being honest when it states in its RNS that sales should start in February. I also believe it more likely than not that an experienced team can get a well flowing unstimulated to flow at a higher rate and put in place standard gas pressure control equipment. H2 is also flowing albeit slowly so I'm betting that this well will come onstream early in the Spring.

Do I know any of this for certain? Of course not. This is an Aim company. Risk is inbuilt. The negs have an easy job because they can just sit on the board and say ' yeah but what if?' to every positive scenario put forward. But can anybody point me to any Aim share where there isn't doubt and uncertainty? It's gambling. My gamble is that now this company has production there is enough to believe that it will make bigger strides from here, but that it will always be a case of 'one step forward etc'. Anyone looking for low risk or certainty shouldn't be here.

Matad s an oil producer after many years of trying. It has a well that flows unstimulated at one of the highest rates ever recorded in the basin. It has another well which has oil and which is being worked on to improve flow. It has diversified very early into renewables in order to dovetail with the local Govt's sustainability objectives. It has huge acreage to explore and a highly experienced drilling team to explore this acreage. It has no debt. It has the support of the local government. It has good relations with neighbouring producers. It is in the last stages of putting off take agreements I place. It has millions of barrels of proven reserves. It has no debt. It has recent favourable press coverage and positive analysis by industry observers. If those are choppy waters then I'm happy to swim in them all day long. The only choppy waters are the ones blown up by the hot air windbag farm created by the concerted efforts of multiple derampers on here.. Buy, hold, wait. Simple.
