I think you're right Investor. This has all been about the MM's positioning themselves to maximise their returns. Nothing in the RNS's over the last couple of months justifies this Mcap, there is no large single seller which is a classic bit of Fud spread to create a bit of panic as there have been no Tr1's. It's how markets work down at these levels, unfortunately. Fudders like we have here know this and congregate when they see a drop as it's incredibly easy to create a bit of fear and panic in large swathes of investors who don't research properly buy just invest or sell on trends. It is a problem bedevilling all equities markets.

Don't forget that's without stimulation. Control the pressure and stimulate, could be looking at a lot more than 821.

H1 is the company-maker and the money now saved by suspending H2 comes in very handy for installing the pressure managment system at H1.

You'l know when Stas buys in, as they'll be the loudest and most frequent poster on here, extolling the company's virtues to high heaven. They'll stay filtered for me though.

The overreaction to the RNS says much more about markets and MM's operate, how actors on boards like this seek to manipulate, and how the markets generally are prone to mindless herd-like behaviour, than it does about the health of the company. People have gradually begun to realise that the RNS was actually quite promising wrt H1, agreement with PC etc.

Just filter garbage like Route1. No point engaging with it.

Great point Gkahn. I'm sure the company will offer some clarification on this as it could make a huge difference to the bottom line going forward. Perhaps you could write to them?

Everything I say is my interpretation of information in the public domain, either through RNS or presentations etc. I invested because my interpretation of this information is positive. If it wasn't I wouldn't be invested. A fudding trader looking for a low entry point tries to exacerbate any fall in the sp by making everything they say about the company a negative interpretation of information. That's why there's no point an investor engaging with a fudder, Stas, Doc, Adw etc. There is no common motivation for posting.

I agree though. JV has got to think a bit laterally here now, do something outside his comfort zone - anything to disrupt this predictable spike, retrace, widen spread, pattern that has been going on for years. A very modest divi would do the trick.

Be aware that Doc is a fud-spreader too. I binned it a long time ago. Fudders basically say there's not enough certainty in anything so they put a negative spin on possible outcomes and make negative predictions. Tha's Fud. No share ever offers certainty on anything so it's down to how you interpret information in the public domain. You can tell a fudder as they have the easy job of just saying 'yeah but, what if' or 'yeah but we can't be certain'. THERE CAN BE NO CERTAINTY so stop saying that the lack of it is a problem. I give you Doc, arch-fudder. Filter and ignore.

You hit upon something that's been forgotten - the RNS announcing that H1 was going to start producing made it clear that the Mongolians were keen to get things going. It said... 'MIMR also issued instruction to Petro Matad to start oil production operations'.

The Mongolians basically ordered the company to get cracking. That says clearly to me that the sign-off on the agreement with Block 19 operators by the Mongolians won't take long. The Mongolians want this to happen, and happen in a short time-frame.

I've said all along, since H1 started pumping - I think the technical term for a well that produces so enthusiastically without stimulation is a 'GUSHER' - that H1 alone is the company-maker. I honestly believe the company realised that H1 is so good potentially that the shouldn't put any more money into H2 yet but redirect the money set-aside for H2 into H1 instead. H2 isn't going anywhere and can be worked on with the money from H1.

H1 well could easily be pumping well in excess of 1000bopd once they sort the pressure control modifications and then bring in a bit of stimulation. That's very exciting as all else the company tries to do has that very generous well to underwrite it. The company has no debt to service through the winter - 4 months let's remind ourselves - and has cash in the bank and will soon have income from H1 so no need to come back to the market for cash. Absolutely in the sweet spot now.
