SAR is the last of my AIM stock. I moved all my other investments into a managed stocks and shares account in 2020. Approx 25% up in 5 years so not a bad return. If SAR ever come good. I will hand it over to a wealth manager and draw a quarterly salary out of it. I'm done with investing. I have £30k in premium bonds so they give me a monthly dose of excitement. I have a friend with a £600k isa managed that is managed for her and she did £67k last year and that was after fee's. Seems pointless going to the trouble of finding stock to then worry about it. Ha ha.

I know what you mean, krusty. I sometimes don't come here for days, especially when between news cycles but we are now due news and good or bad, it will be pivotal. As for the time. I work from home and my day is usually taken up with Teams calls or phone calls. The time inbetween calls. I make a cuppa and check in here. Most of the time I skim the posts and move on. But there are a lot of unanswered questions and we have a wide range of investors here. I don't understand the science and really, it's secondary when it comes to my research. My research tends to be around, cash flow, when was the last raise, when will the company need a cash injection. Where has this scenario played out before and what was the outcome of that? Ive found, you can spot the potential for profit better that way rather than looking purely at the science. I've seen lots of things scenarios play out on AIM, mostly bad for the retail investors. So what might loom like speculation is in fact building a picture of the probable out comes. One being a raise. Ive been very tempted to buy at these low prices but I'm adamant that I won't. I'm keeping a pot ready, just in case we're offered shares at 20p. So, wait for news, yes but not blindly and without a strategy for as many scenarios you can think of.

If it was my scenario. SAR would still be SAR but be funded and have control of 737. The private pharmas shares would be converted into SAR shares and they would install someone on the SAR board. Crucially, it wouldnt cost that much to do. It would also leave the door open for a proper TO down the line.

Or reverse takeover, where Sareum use VC cash to to absorb the 'private pharma'. The VC firm would want someone on the SAR board hence Tim stripping sideways. It would explain a lot.

I think 737 is somehow linked to the progress of 1801. And once we know the direction of travel for 1801, we will get news on 737 soon after. There are a few reasons i think this. The deal is almost identical to the original pronai terms. The shares offered reeks of VC type behaviour, Tim going part time. They might all be isolated but together thru could mean VC/JV activity. Actually, after a bit of searching it was SOG and 1802. extract from the patent below. Credit to SOG here, all i did was remembered someone talked about BCL2.

Note the IL-6 and also note BCL-2 (Damage to the Bcl-2 gene has been identified as a cause of a number of cancers, including melanoma, breast, prostate, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and lung cancer, and a possible cause of schizophrenia and autoimmunity. It is also a cause of resistance to cancer treatments.

Maybe why it is initially more likely that 1802 will be used as a combo therapy. Think about that for a minute. We are not in this instance an immediate threat to present, less effective competition but can compliment as a co therapy.

Can't answer your question re design but 1801 is way past mouse models. Once p1a data out and if suitable, 1801 could be trialed in real IBD patients.

I sort of agree a reality, but not nessesarily with "funding issues". More like the middle ground in negotiations hasn't been found yet and the board could still walk away from the table. This dlso makes me think, although the data is good, it isn't go to set the world on fire until we have efficacy data from p2a. I'm still going with a low upfront licence with big backend milestones.

I've no doubt the 1a data and tox is all good. Good enough to at least go into p2a. IMO, it's a binary choice from here. It can go one of two ways (no sh*t sherlock). Scenario 1 - we get the data with news on how p2a will be funded and the SP will rise. Or scenario 2 - we get the data and news that some sort if raise is coming. Wrap, HNWI or something along those lines. In this case the sp will fall to the discounted raise price. I've been here and honestly can't call it and I guess lots of other investors are thinking the same. Mm's are doing what they can to fill the very few orders that are going in. It's just easier all round to lower the bid. It always happens near a news drop. I really do hope the board have this covered though.

The patent was filed in April 2020. It covers have the capsule is prepared and manufactured. It extend the patent life of 1801 and runs from the filed date. It offers an extra 20 years of protection so until April 2040. So any phama buying it will have 16 years to charge what they want until the patent runs out. It's a big deal. We now have a compound that will soon be protected across multiple indications. The fact that China is the first territory may be an indication where the compound is going.

From a deal point of view. This patent extends the life of 1801. Good news for valuations. For those that remember, this was the patent that John Reader made an off the cuff remark and labled it a "submarine patent". It hit everyone here excite at the time.

It's in the how we work bit. Not really an issue but I wonder how many big deals come from a big pharma reading the website and then contacting the board via an email? You would hope that Parker has some good contacts on speed dial.

Sprucing up the website should say to people that the p1a data is good enough to carry on. However they, have reworded a few things and I do wish they wouldn't put that line in about welcoming potential partners to get in touch or whatever is says. It make it sound like they aren't talking to anyone yet and waiting for someone to come to them. That might be the case, of course but it would contradict what we have been told by the board with the show us the data quote. I am of the opinion that we will get the results on time and it will come with clarity on where funding will come from. The new look website is gearing up for whatever comes next.

We all know 1802 is the big one here. This is where the big value is. 1801 validates 1802 to the point where trials will probably start in actual patients, not healthy. 1a phamacodynamics could well point to which indications 1802 could target and the board could dangle that on front of any potential suiters. There is all to play for but cash to continue is the key.
