5 million would mean at least a 15% dillution plus it would put us back at 10p and only be enough to get us to this time next year. Based on industry norms, it looks like they overpaid a little. Generally, it's upto 100 million for p1, upto 300 million for Phase 2 ready and 1.4 billion for phase 3 ready. Of course that is x 2 (as would SAR be, probably) They must think they will sail through phase 1 and on into phase 2. The milestones are undisclosed, but you can bet they will be over a billion if approved.

But then, the company line was something like "we expect the unblinded data to be available in Q3". "expect" could be open to interpretation. They could go right to notification of full year results. Usually 1st or 2nd week of October.

I do read the statements in full, always. Noted Damion, but that statement is based on unblinded data from healthy patients. I'm not convinced it will bring the news that here some want. It also doesn't prove that the data has been unblinded and in Johns hands. I'm still of the opinion that we need 2a data so If Transformational news means funding to do 2a, then yes, I'm happy to wait for that.

Just playing devil's advocate here but when I read that comment from John. I assumed he meant the half life of the compound. A once daily dose, would be an advantage over it's competitors. I can't see where else they could claim an advantage when it's only been giving to healthy patients.
